Looks like I'm done buying anything on steam until support gets back in touch with me. I'm not locked out of my account, but I am locked out of purchasing anything regardless of how I purchase it.

This happened in a past Christmas sale as well. Something to do with using 2 separate credit cards seems to randomly flag some people if the purchases are made within a certain timeframe of each other.

You'd think Valve would recognize the name and billing address matches on all my payment methods... at least this is what I'm assuming happened to me, since it's already happened in the past.

Be careful about making too many individual purchases in succession, otherwise this will happen to you, too.

The error is "Steam was unable to initialize or process your purchase. Please try again in a minute or contact support."

It's been 6 hours and I still can't make my purchase D: Yet another reason I prefer GOG.

Came home to check the sales, and wow, they're terrible. They just repeat the sales so much. Why not some new games like Trials Evolution or Proteus?

Just a heads up about some cheap and not openly advertised games I've picked up:

Rise of the Argonauts - $2.49

An absolute steal at this price. The game doesn't revolutionise the gaming world but it is a very solid action RPG with great story, dialogue and satisfying combat. I highly recommend it at this price

Sid Meier's Pirates - $4.99

Never played this one but always wanted to. I was waiting for it to be cheap or appear on GOG. Now I have it
