Well this sale has disappointed so far
The Secret World for 50% off is pretty tempting, it always did look interesting to me but I had no desire to pay full price for a client then a subscription without know if i'd like it. Anyone got an opinion on it since it's went free to play?

How is it free 2 play? You still have to pay to buy it.

Anyway, it's a shitty mmo, but it's a fun game if you're into conspiracy theories, solving puzzles with minimal handholding and quite a decent lore.

Also, in my opinion, the only MMO worth playing because of it's non-mmo features.

JMich: Other Assassin's Creed games -75%
I think this may be a glitch. Ubisoft seems to be limiting their sales in the promo to 66% off, and the pack now costs 10 euro more than the games separately :D

So grab them while you can ;) Just grabbed Revelations, will probably grab AC3 during Christmas, unless I manage to score the Season Pass for UPlay seperately.
I'm glad I waited for Sleeping Dogs to go on a Daily Sale (we all knew it was coming) because now the DLC is 75% off as well.

timppu: Yet, according to my Steam library, over the years I have accumulated 177 Steam games (many of which redeemed keys from my Humble Indie Bundles purchases, though). Maybe I should play them first before buying any more.

Just one? I envy you and actually in my case I do have the time but I've been a little silly shopping sales... for years. You can imagine what's happened there. ;-)

Could someone kindly remind me which DLC added new missions and wasn't just an outfit or a weapon? One was Nightmare in North Point and I think another was Zodiac Tournament, any others worth getting?

Those two and Year of the Snake.

I also got the dragon master pack, because it included the triad enforcer pack (two missions), the police protection pack (one mission) and the martial arts pack (one mission), but you could certainly skip it since there are a couple of packs included that are just outfits, and even the ones I mentioned seem to have most of its value in adding weapons and outfits, which I agree it's not something that matters.

Smannesman: The Courier's Stash is the least interesting of them all, it just gives you the pre-order bonuses (some armor and guns you get immediately upon starting the game).
This DLC annoyed me because i bought the other gears codes of ebay and friends just so I could have the most full version of the game, then they released that for about 10% of what i payed for it. im an idiot but meh
I've been mulling over whether or not to pick up Skyrim Legendary Edition today. Anyone recommend it as a must-have game? And is the DLC worth the extra $15?

What did you expect? Some other titles? Bigger discounts?

Thanks, I'll check those out.

I haven't played the DLC but I'd say it comes down a lot to what type of experience you plan to have with the game.

I played Skyrim for 80 hours and haven't even seen all the cities, and barely touched the main story, yet I feel completely fulfilled in my time spent with it and feel no need to play it again. So if you want to experience everything, the DLC would certainly be good, but if you see yourself just having fun with the game for as long as the game remains fun, and then move to something new, then what's already in the base game should be more than enough for you.
