tinyE: FYI GG has a summer sale going on now and IT SUCKS! :P I have a nice list of games in there wishlisted (titles I obviously can't get here or I would) and they don't have any of them marked down. Right now it's just a bunch of Sega crap. XD
Nope, actually they have 865 items on sale currently, not just Sega stuff:

http://www.gamersgate.com/offers

You shold have clicked on the "On Sale" tab instead of "All Offers" on the Sega pic! :P
Dishonored
Skyrim: Dragonborn
Total War: Rome 2
Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag
It really depends on what they have on sale and if I like the sale prices. I'd like to get Mark of the Ninja and Hacker Evolution. Vampire The Masquearde: Bloodlines would be great as well if I could get it DRM free. That isn't going to happen though, based on what's been said already. I don't think either of the other games are available DRM free anywhere, otherwise I'd buy them as soon as possible.
The wrong is just having it's way with me today! :P I bitched about a sale being limited and I was wrong about that so I bitched about it not having anything on my wish list and alas....WRONG! :P

Seriously, Crazy Machines 1 or Crazy Machines 1.5? I asked this once before and it got so quiet you could hear a mouse fart. I'm hoping for a little more input this time. XD

XD I'm sorry I mentioned it. I'm going to snag 1 and if I like it I'll move on from there. Besides #2 is $10 which is a little much for an iffy game.

Not trying to get on your nerves here, but you can get Crazy Machines 2 for as little as $1, along with several other games from the Humble Weekly Bundle, DRM-free even. ;)

The downside is, the deal will end in 45 minutes.

BUY! THE! GAME!

(It's not working, comrades, the subject keeps resisting! Time for Plan B.) :P
The nice thing about the wishlist on steam is you can quickly scroll see it and see games on sale clearly marked. Makes it a quick way to deal with a summer sale if you don't want to scroll through everything.

Not so easy with Gamersgate. Though the sale price is indicated properly in your wishlist, it isn't flagged with a sale icon and the original price like Steam.

Of course it doesn't matter for me this year, I need to find a job first. Though maybe is something breaks before the end of the month I can partake in the sales.

AdamR: Whatever I can get for 44 cents. Looks like that is all I'll have to work with this time.

misteryo: Velvet Assassin
Yep, I just got that for a few cents, in the pre-sale sale. I expect to like it, given I like stealthy games, and WWII games, and female lead characters.

Here on GOG, I'm still waiting to see if Original War gets a sale before they pull the trigger on it. (KIA, 22nd June)

Does Steam have a notify at price drop option? Gamersgate does, but I haven't managed to find out how to turn that option on on steam.

Every now and then I get an email from Steam when a game in my wishlist is on sale. I don't remember any setting about it, so I guess it's automatic.

Edit: Yep, here it is:

We'll let you know by email or through our mobile app when the games on your Wishlist are on sale as a Daily Deal, Midweek Madness or Weekend Deal. Whether you're riding the bus, walking the dog, or stuck in a meeting, you'll know when there's a deal!

If you'd prefer not to be notified, it's easy to opt out of email or turn off mobile notifications.
So, it should be automatic and you have to option to turn notifications off.
