Are there any problem with GTA4 and GfWL now when they turned it off?
Also, did they somehow optimized it? Or it's as bad as it was on release?

Oh, look, Steam has Banished on sale for 50% off for £7.49.
GOG is still better, even without a possibly free flash giveaway. :P

Blazing Saddles and Treasure of the Sierra Madre, what great (and very different) western classics. And somehow that 'bit' never seemed to get old: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx6TBrfCW54 :D
Oh, lookee there. Resident Evil 4, 6, and Revelations on a good sale; I've been waiting for that. Think I'll snatch all three. :) This will probably be my only purchase from the Steam sale.
So far, i've only bought Skyrim Legendary for £6 or so with all the cards i've sold and saved the cash from them. Trying not to spend too much really. I tend to not spend much on Steam for a few years now, mostly bundles really.

Fallen Enchantress legendary thing is on the flash sale, is that worth a punt at £6 (all with my card sales) I'm unsure, i enjoyed Warlock, but haven't played too many of those kind of games (never played might and magic etc...)

I certainly don't think i'll be crafting any badges for a very remote chance of getting games on the wishlist.

Tbh alot of the deals, ok some have been ok... but alot have been higher (even though it was noticable on other sales there) such as New vegas being higher price etc...

I'm hoping i enjoy skyrim as i thought that was quite pricey! No idea on what mods to consider...

I knew I missed one... Hmm, I wonder, is there a Badger Badge somewhere on Steam?

Well, this game's badge ought to qualify: http://store.steampowered.com/app/244710/ ;)
Steam insists putting Star Wars Battlefront in a sale when the official multiplayer servers are no longer online.

Does anyone think this could be worthy of the $3.40?

Sweet! You're right! Badger badges!! Now, if only I actually cared about Steam Cards for anymore than what I can sell them for on the market.....

From what i know the only problem is that multiplayer will be shut down once GFWL goes down. If i recall correctly, the game supports offline GFWL profiles, so there should be no problems with offline single player once GFWL shuts down, unlike Bulletstorm, for example, which requires an online profile (and we don't know what will happen to this game once GFWL shuts down).

Did they optimize it? Well, not so much. It's still pretty demanding for what it offers, but modern PCs should have no issues running it anymore. It's definitely not as bad as it was on release, for sure, but it's still a shitty port and nothing will change that.

You are aware that GTA 4 has 2 DRMs, right? It has SecuROM and Steamworks as DRM, not to mention that it requires both a GFWL and a Rockstar Social Club account. So, that's 4 annoying things for you. Also, there are people who have issues with that Rockstar Social Club crap. I haven't encountered any issues with it, but there are tons of threads on the Steam forum complaining about it, so, keep that in mind.

Do you have a console? If you do, i really recommend you get the console version instead of the PC port.

Get Empire at War instead. More fun, more mods, AND people still play online, or did last time I checked about a year ago.

What's the problem with that? The game is not multiplayer only. In fact, the single player is quite decent for a multiplayer focused game. Not to mention that the game is playable online with Gameranger.

It's definitely worth it for U$3.40.

So it's still that bad, and here I thought after all that time they did smt and cut all that crap from PC version... I'm guessing this will never happen, thx for info.

They're completely different games. Battlefront 2 is a FPS, Empire at War is a RTS.
