Rarely buy Steam.... but if the Van Helsing games (probably a 0 chance it ever comes to GOG...)get a healthy discount ill get them....

Can't wait, last couple of years were kind of lukewarm for me but I'd like to complete some series and perhaps pick up some games I'm not quite sure about for cheap.

Honestly, Steam sales are not an event anymore. No more treasure hunt, only card collecting for stupid badges (and I'm out of this), crappy discounts, and they put always the SAME games. I mean, I have Rayman Origins on my wishlist since it was released, and they never discounted it at 75% off.

But for SURE we will see: Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman, Darksiders, Super Meat Boy, Magicka, and so on.

The annoying thing is, they always have a *tiny* pool of games they draw the daily deals and community votes for....and they repeat and rinse..

Yeah, exaclty. For example I have Dragon's Lair 1 and 2, and they only got a 33% discount ONCE, if I remember well.
Well, I hope that Humble Bundle will take out a good bundle, so I can grab something here, because I have no faith on Steam anymore, you can find better deals on GMG, Gamersgate and so on, and they cover more games then Steam too.

I don't know but i *think* it's unlikely that it will be cheaper in the Steam Summer Sale.

It'll be like every other sale recently - anything I'm remotely interested in will be too new to be heavily discounted... though I'd get AC:IV i9f it was 50% off - otherwise always looking for hell cheap interesting looking indie titles... or perhaps X Rebirth

Actually... probably best not to get me started, or I'll probably still never stop

It's supposed to be better now with a new patch and upgrade to version 2.0 -- was 50% off a couple of weeks ago. Doubt many reviewers are going to do a retrospective and re-review on it though.

Still, personally, I've got the rest of the series to plow through before I even think about getting X Rebirth.

Perhaps... but for a big enough discount I'll give it a shot... and it'll hold me over till the new Elite is released (screw Star Citizen right off...)
