Pheace: If you care about DRM-Free Steam shouldn't have been the place to buy your Indie games for the last few years already. Places like Humble and others generally sell you a DRM-free copy on top of a Steam key, so that's generally a better deal.
DRM-free is less of a selling point to me than it is most GOGers.

I support GOG mainly because they

1. Are a one-stop shop for older titles (sometimes exclusively and often before others)
2. Believe in a DRM-free world - even though I personally don't mind about some DRM, I respect that they are championing the banner against it
3. Are a bunch of cool people, who really care about games and customers

#3 strikes a chord with me, and apparently many others who will often buy a GOG copy of a game, even though they may own it elsewhere, even DRM-free.
I spent more on gog this time but have bought a couple of day sales too on steam.

How many trading cards did you have? I only made about $3

I made $1 and that was only from selling about 7-8 cards. Wish I had more. Another idea is the play TF2 and hope you get some drops to sell.

I've been "farming" cards for over a week by going into games and letting them just run whilst I did other things (you don't have to actually be playing the game, just have it running.) In addition, you can have two games running at once to get cards from them :D

Just go to your Badges page to see which games have cards, and how many "drops" you have.

Drops slow down proportionally with the number of games running if you run more than one game at a time.

I think it's actually even worse. When I have one game running, it usually takes around 1.5 hours to get all card drops. If I have two games running, it takes 5-6 hours. Once I opened 6 games concurrently (as a test) and only got a single drop in 12 hours.

Yes they do, but if you're going to be away from the computer for a long time (say, overnight or out and about town) it's a non-issue :D
So silent here this evening.. did you all go to steam? :' (

Phc7006: Even with a 90% rebate it's playing the game the way Bohemia wants it to be : steam exclusive. So, thanks but no thanks.
They let it go on sale on Steam, but not here? What is that all about? Seems a bit mean, really.
Second day of daily deals are worse than the first. Except State of Decay. Weak discounts on slighty pricey games. flash sales look uninspiring

yeah so far this sale has been underwhelming

Indeed, so far this Summer Sale is actually more underwhelming then the Steam Winter Sale last year where the discount on games was much better in a lot of cases.
I think you guys are too used to 3 -4 years ago where everything was 75% off. That being said, more than half of whats on sale are at their lowest price point across all distributors (thanks enhanced steam). Blame publishers I guess.
