5 Minutes. Moment of truth!
Underwhelming beginning to be honest.

I do like how they list that XCOM Enemy Unknown is 83% off of $49.98 on the front page, but when you view the game page it is 67% off of $29.99. IIRC $29.99 has been the regular price on Steam for quite a while now. They appear to be artificially inflating the regaulr price on the front page to make it look like a better deal...

Agreed.
Not a single game on sale that I'm interested in. At least not yet. Oh well, got 20 cents for selling a card x)

The front page is misleading, it makes you think it's 83% off XCOM: Enemy Unknown, but in fact it's 83% off the XCOM: Enemy Unknown + The Bureau: XCOM Declassified bundle. (Which is listed at $49.98.)
It's hard to tell as well, because the X-Com games appear to be 67% off for me, but when I click on the package info for XCOM & The Bureau, it actually lists XCOM as being 75% off.
So this may just be a case of the buggy nature of Steam discounts when they start a sale. I'd give it a chance to settle before worrying too much about it.
This is it? Most of the games on my wishlist are only 33% - 50% off! Boo Steam! 75% off or bust! :P

Oh well, i hope they will have some better deals the next days.
What the hell are these Holyday Trading Cards ? How are the chances to win 3 games from your wishlist among millions of users ? Maybe I will win an emoticon for the fun !

Well, they've now changed the frontpage. It now says 75% off of $29.99.

It's difficult for me to understand how they couldn't even get the first group of daily discounts listed properly... Oh well, just a reminder to everyone to keep a close eye on what you're buying.
It looks like they expanded the community event this time and I like the idea of the community vote being a group of 4 games vs just one game.

Nothing yet for me either but I do own 3 games already that are daily and 2 of the flash sale games.
Has anyone played Winter Voices? The whole pack is on sale for 5 bucks.
Lol They me gaben, they hatin xD

So this is the famous Steam summer sale everybody been waiting for? Yawn
GOG sale is better.I prefer DRM free anytime and gog is way better than steam. When you buy DRM
you encourage it.
Can anyone please recommend me a game on Steam that is $9 and under AND is not on GOG.com? I don't mind anything, but I like turn based stuff and FPS stuff. Roguelikes and shmups are fine too.

I would like to get Dominions 4, but A: It's about $18, and B: I have Dominions 3 already.

And as for my wishlist: http://steamcommunity.com/id/AttObl/wishlist/

Lots of games, but the prices are quite a mixed bag, so I'll wait.

LOL at all the hate. Meanwhile the sale probably made more money in the past 30 minutes than any other distributor in the past 4 hours. Almost 8 million users on the site now.
