Foxhack: According to the Steam forums, you -can- ask Steam support to remove some games from your library. But it's a complete pain in the ass.

... I just checked and Spiral Knights is in my library now. Apparently I own the Sonic CD DLC... OMG THEY GAVE ME THE TAILS DLC :D :D :D :D

*ahem*

I need to ask them to remove a few games from my game list - for some reason I have the Atom Zombie Smasher demo in my profile despite owning the full game. And Battle for Graxia, which I only installed for a stupid Steam thing a few years back.

And remove Mafia II so I can buy Mafia II Digital Deluxe since 2K Games won't offer a Digital Deluxe upgrade option...
I think demos at least are removed from your library when you uninstall them.

No if the demo is added to the library by Steam. They added Serious Sam HD TSE demo to my library, and I cannot remove it.

Nope, this one shows up in my Steam profile, -despite not having it installed for over two years-.

Roman5: Dead betas? like......?
Well, I still have Steam Community Beta Access. I'm pretty sure that's already out.

xxxIndyxxx: I am actually more annoyed with all those trading cards....
Trading Cards = Money! ;)
I would be happy for a delete game option. Or even better: the opportunity to sell games on tje Steam market.
I have a garbage game called "Wargame: European Escalation", I will be happy to remove from my Steam library. On the other side, I think that game quickly will devalue to 0.01, like the TF2 crates ;)

You can contact Steam support to ask them to remove the game. You won't get a refund though.
Steam itself isn't a bloody garbage can?

If you look at the big picture...90% of all videogames ever released belong in a garbage can

Or you can contact Steam support to ask them to send the game to me :P

In all seriousness, both the Library and the Inventory could do with more organisation and customisability. What am I saying, all of Steam could!

Also, what's wrong with Wargame?

carnival73: and games that people are embarrassed to have showing in their libraries.

Mr. Cheese-Us told me that it's only proper to speak specifics about that which is awesome and good - since rewarding good motivates people to continue doing so more so than criticizing their bad.

bansama: It's easy to get rid of things you don't want from your inventory. Trade them to trashbot.

Brilliant!

Ah, yes, Sturgeon's law.
Apparently Trashbot is dead in the water if someone leaves him in their friend's list after trading.
Yes, yes, Steam needs to be put in the garbage can.

Ah wait, I think I misread...

Here, have a free Steam Space Chem code and let's just hope that Steam will choke on it and expire soon.
