Gazoinks: A copy of Bad Rats someone ninja gifted to you, probably. :P
Can't be as bad as Secrets of the Magic Crystals :P
No J̶o̶h̶n̶ Steam, you are the bloody garbage cans.

trading cards is easy to get rid of, put them on the Steam market place, the thing that is annoying is those Backgrounds and Emoticons, they are worthless even on the Steam market :P

I have worse games....

Anyway, while people will still be able to see that you own that pony adventure game that you are trying to hide, you can at least hide it from yourself. I have a category simply named "garbage" for games that I hate.
Coupons tends to be time limited, so that is at least a problem that will solve itself. Trading cards can be dumped on the market place (and unless it is a foil card, it's not worth much. Foil cards on the other hand can be sold for silly amounts of money (if you consider what they actually are). I got 4½€ for one of those stupid things just recently).

The problem with the trading cards isn't the cards themselves, but what they represent. As in, they are a sign of Steam/Valve continual dangerous movement towards "gamification". Steam should be encouraging their users to be playing the games they buy, but instead they are promoting a "collect em all" mentality, promoting social/community features, friends' lists, basically everything except actually playing games.

It always surprises me how many "gamers" will use just about any excuse in the book not actually play games. As if the important thing isn't the games themselves but being part of some gaming scene.

I'll help you out by taking them off your hands :)

What annoys me is the expired beta invites cluttering up my inventory.
There does not appear to be a delete option for these.

I've made quite a few $ selling cards so far, and using that to buy games :D

Sell them if you don't want them. So far, I've made more than $50 from trading cards.

Fever_Discordia: Wait, Steam client supports categories? OMG I feel some serious categorising coming on!

darthspudius: I am not sure if you're serious so just in case you are... how did you not know?! :P
Yes I was and I'm not sure, maybe because the GOG shelf doesn't and I was used to that functionality not existing and I don't right click things enough?

The category feature is very good for organising that list of games. Use it well!

Well, I got trading cards from the games I have. Also, I had the occasional foil card and booster pack.

I take it that you also sold them early on. Common trading cards could be worth over 1€ during the beta.

Only some of them. A lot of the cards I sold have been for ~10 cents.
