I hope they do the achievement thing again. It forces me to play the games I have.

I've always been a sucker for the Steam sales but this time I hope I'll resist, like I've resisted most (though not all) impulse buys over the past few months. Only game I'm planning to buy is LEGO Lord of the Rings on Amazon when it drops to $7.50. That doesn't mean I won't succumb to temptation and but a few more games.

This just in...

There is a rumor from people connected with Valve Software that the Winter Sale is going to be protected from farmers – remember the coal farming last year?

New Steam accounts that haven’t purchased any game with a credit card, PayPal or any other payment method this year (adding a CD-Key on your Steam account does not count as a purchase!) will not be able to participate in the Winter Sale achievements.

Nice group of games.
Wonder how much they will try to flog it for?.
With exception of Dear Ester (lots will argue it isnt really a game and therefore imho doesnt really add value to the bundle hehe ;) ), the rest is a fair representation of indies for the newbies ;).

Looks like Towns however is in Beta/Alpha. Wasnt sure as i seem to remember it as such, but seems to be still the case looking in forums. Steam putting a game in beta as part of the bundle? hmmmmmm

This pack is great but has the problem many big packs have. A lot of the games in there are great so I have them already and if you have more than maybe 20% of the games in these packs the deal often isn't that good anymore.

I'm really hoping Europa Universalis III Chronicles goes on sale. Amazon still has it at full price, and it hasn't been on sale anywhere as far as I know. So its up to steam.

I'm after small budget prizes indie games this Winter, and a few DLC. Yep, my thin wallet is somewhat ready, still!!

McPixel, Wizorb, Sleeping Dogs DLC etc.. Maybe those lots of Warhammer 40k extentions. :o
