Pheace: Isn't it $9.99 in US? See people mentioning that price.

JMich: Doubt it, Dawn of War is one of the rare cases in which the EU price is much cheaper than the US one, let me check Steamprices

Edit: Color me surprised (and ninja'd), it is!
Sadly true yeah, DOW2 was generally excepted from this rule. One of the reasons I'm very sad THQ is doing so bad.
May I ask for opinions on Darksiders, is it worth buying or not?

Not sure of the gameplay as I haven't played it myself but if you keep an eye out on the Steam forums and maybe even here, (and probably a lot of other places too), Darksiders keys are being handed out like candy.
Both it and Darksiders II look and sound fun but again, I don't have any experience with them. Was just answering the "is it worth buying" question. Then again, if you can't obtain a key for it, the Steam THQ bundle and the recent Amazon bundle have these games at really low prices. (not to mention the expired humble bundle).

Question concerned mostly the pack, since I already have the 1st one, and it seems as if I'll pick up the pack as well. More or less dissapointed with the steam sale, and trying to see if I can convince myself to buy anything or not. If it's a fun game, even better ;)

JMich: And another group of "meh" dailies.
Dungeon Defenders -75%
Dead Island -66%
Dota 2 -50%
Train Simulator 2013 -66%
Blood Bowl Legendary Edition -75%
Blood Bowl Chaos Edition -33%
Dawn of War Franchise -75%

Individual items for Dawn of War may not be discounted by 75%, but the franchise pack is an excellent deal, especially in Europe (€9.99)
Blood Bowl CE was -33% now 50% off (someone mentioned the price was jacked up at some point)
Blood Bowl LE is -75% HOWEVER it was already this before going daily sale.
Little unexpected that the Tilted Mill games aren't on sale, Hinterlands, Children of the Nile. Especially given Children of the Nile being in a recent bundle.

Great games imo and usually a candidate for the Gems thread, but no dice it seems.
And another weak round of flash deals.

Condemned: Criminal Origins -66%
Limbo -75%
Quantum Conundrum -75%

People complain about lack of fun on the forums, but really its the weak or limp deals which are causing more damage. Steam hasnt risen to the competition this year (despite fact most just resell Steamkeyed products at lower prices)

It's certainly a weak start so far, although granted most of the sale is still ahead of us.
Thinking of getting the dawn of war franchise for $10. It has a stupid amount of dlc though.

"Weak" is in the eye of the beholder; I just bought two of those, and it would have been three if I didn't already own Limbo.
Yeah, that's the thing. It's easy to be jaded about these sales once you have most of your back catalog filled from previous sales. But a lot of these are actually good deals for those who haven't picked these games up yet.
True on both the two last posts, maybe I see those as weak because it's not a "Damn, that's a really nice offer" that Steam is (supposedly) known for.
So far the only offers I've seen that I would rank as excellent are the THQ ones, but that may change.
There seems to really very few deals many people would say "WOW/Instabuy/Must buy at all costs hammer the website into submission" type deals atm. But yes i can see how value would depend on the person wanting to buy a game :)
