Then Ubisoft games are still 50% overpriced.
I like GOG better and could care less about Steam even if it was a "FREE FOR LIFE!" giveaway.

Well, that's just stupid.

Excuse me, princess for not liking your almighty Steam !! XD
Ubisoft could drop all their games down to a dollar and I still wouldn't buy any of them.
Why all the Ubisoft hate? (I'm not asking about the Steam hate because there's been numerous topics on that already)

They seem to have a reputation for half finished games and really poor support (patches, community, etc).
I don't have much experience with them, but I didn't care for the way they shunned PC users with the latest DLC for PoP 2008.
To their credit though they're really giving me hope with the lack of DRM on their latest titles.
PoP2008, Hawx, World in Conflict, EndWar, ... ?

Not low enough.

From what I've been told, you're not missing much, it apparently highlights all the flaws in the game and isn't long enough to justify the purchase price.

This: http://bansama.com/b/gaming-news/business-reasons-prevent-prince-of-persia-pc-dlc/
And while we may not ultimately miss much with it, it sets a dangerous precedent which I simply will not support.

The problem with Ubisoft is that they used to f*ck consumers in order to stop piracy. I think they stopped using DRM a while ago though.

Shaun White Snowboarding is earlier than POP.

By a week.
My point is it wasn't all that long ago and they still haven't bothered patching DRM out of their earlier titles.
Hmm, you are right. But SC: Double Agent is DRM free now with the latest patch.
