Where are you Florida?

I'm in the U.P. hovering around 11 F.

And how do you make that groovy degree bubble? Jesus I'm inept with a computer!

An evil genius does not reveal his island hideout in the middle of the Pacific.

As for °, there's the Character Map program or Alt 0176 where the numbers are typed from the numberpad.
Wait, what, a Yooper? So, tinyE, just how many yards of snow you got over there so far? (inches? we're talking about the UP here!)

tinyE: Any stupid Americans out there want to give me a Farenheit on these? :P
Can you believe the rest of the world man? Didn't they get the memo? We don't do metric!

LOL!!!

I'm kidding! I'm kidding! Please don't shoot me!

Chilly? Good Lord man! I took a walk downtown this morning and it was 19 degrees out. I was freezing!

And we are going into single digits at night this week. :(

Far out, someone knows the terminology. I live on the shore of the U.P. a few yards from the lake so I get a lot less than the rest of the Keweenaw. We're at about 82 inches for the winter so far and climbing. It looks like Hoth outside.

I went to complain to my employer today as the "power posts" at our work parking place were not working, ie. you won't get any electricity to pre-heat the engine. Starting the engine at -20 Celsius (what it was today) without pre-heating is a bad idea. Sure you can do it, but it is a sure way to damage your engine, bit by bit.

I think this (-20 Celsius) is the coldest in this area this winter. And I like this much more than the stupid +3 C degrees just a couple of weeks ago, when there was slippery and watery ice and slush everywhere. Yuck!

A colleague of mine just went back from a conference in Australia to Novosibirsk in Siberia, where he lives. Talk about a drastic temperature change!
