Isn't that form old? It's been there since the launch of the site.
Mostly single player online multiplayer BLOWS MY MIND.

My own thoughts.
I'm so torn on TOR. :\ Everything I read on it makes it sound like you don't necessarily *have* to play with a group or anything MMO-esque, so why on earth can't they just give us real games of KotOR 3, 4 and 5 (I read an article stating that BioWare views TOR as three games in the series)? I'll more than likely give it a shot because I love the KotOR games and it does sound at least very neat, but I figure it'll be the same as most MMOs and I'll lose interest quickly and not want to pay for it monthly.
Every interview I've read, it's single player, and then you can team up to beat each other up at set locations that have absolutely nothing to do with the story. And there's some on rails spaceship shooting.

What the hell for? Why is this an MMORPG?

Dollars,euros, pounds! :)

I'm just gonna pay for one walktrough, maybe two, tho as most of you I would've preferred 1-2 installments of KoToR.

:P

IMO this is AWESOME for those who want to play online and possibly chat/compete with other players without having to be arsed to join a group/guild/league/faction/conglomerate/raiding party/etc.

Indeed. They make it sound like such a singleplayer game, but then they make it an MMO. I don't like MMOs but I would love a new KOTOR style game.

It'd be epic if one could just buy this and run in offline/practice "Mode" and play through the singleplayer offline for just the cost of the initial purchase, and optionally pay more for multiplayer features.

Yeah. If it wasn't subscription based, and I could really get through the game without having to interact with anyone, I'd probably get the game. But otherwise, I'm not at all impressed with any MMO community I've seen.

Yeah, I would buy it in a heartbeat if it had singleplayer mode. I would even accept to being constantly online as long as there was no monthly fee.
