this new 4 part video was released showing GREAT detail of what to expect in the game. This is just part one, each part will follow if you wait 10 seconds after the video is over.

Didn't they already do this back in 2003? Someone want to remind me how that little exercise turned out?

it looks like a good singleplayer game.... not sure about the MMO aspect though (either that it is needed, or that it will be good)

Hey, from that video, what they showed was Knights of The Old Republic 3 mixed with the mass effect dialogue and choice system and your party members are online players. Sounds perfect to me :)

He's kidding. It's a reference to Star Wars Galaxies, the previous SW MMO, which is regarded by most as a dismal failure.

Eh? You mean that crappy Star Wars Galaxies by Sony Online that got ruined by it's community? no, this is by BioWare...

It sounds good, except for the monthly fees. Kotor3 with added multiplayer = great idea.
Kotor3 as an MMO... hmmm.
I just get the sense that this will be a great game with friends, but not with annoying random strangers... and that its gonna be heavily instanced, to allow everyone to follow their own stories. (none of the things shown in this video would have worked if there were others running around on their own missions at the same time).
So, if it's a heavily instanced party based RPG based on a storyline... er, that's kinda like Baldur's gate multiplayer right? Where does the MMO part come in?

Its the only MMO I've ever been tempted to seriously try. Assuming they do a month free trial I'll have a go.

I didn't see video, buuut... Baldur's Gate MP? Not entire world populated by heroes? ... I have to watch those videos :D

Oh :) Well this has certainly been in development from at least 2004 or something so I just though.. :P
Yeah Star Wars Galaxies did suck, not at first though. Only later when they totally messed up the skill system and the "level" system.

A mix between Mass Effect, Star Wars and MMO mechanics?
Sounds pretty awesome.
Add players and it'll end in disaster.
