The next Double Fine game has arrived on the PC!

W00t!

So far I've only seen it on Steam, so it probably is a Steam exclusive. Yes, Steam is bad, it will eat our Sould, yadda yadda yadda. Steam has brought DF back on the PC, that is all I care right now!

I don't care, another DF game on PC. That hopefully means Trenched isn't far behind.

And it is 33% off, making it a tenner.

Oh, wow. This is AWESOME news. I wander whether Kickstarter project played a part in this. :) Anyway, it is good news and now we just have to wait till it arrives to GOG. :P On a second thought, I still do not have Psychonauts so.... first off for that one! :)

GOG has Double Fine signed, but I guess their pricepoint is to low right know. But those would be awesome candidates for their "new game" releases in the coming month.

Interesting as it was the only Double Fine that kind of interested me among the recently released ones (didn't care for Costume Quest and Trenched looked so so)... will wait for it to be released elsewhere though.

But wasn't this one announced a long time ago ?

Ahh.. should I or shouldn't I... 5$ in Russia, but I've already beaten it on PS3, but I've skipped the DLC.
The only thing that annoyed me big time was that the trailer music isn't used in the game.

Bought without any hesitation and installing now. Great timing, just completed Psychonauts with all achievements two days ago :)

I've completed Psychonaughts but I'm put off going back for all the items and cheevs by the whole 'Save point of no return' thing - am I right in thinking that I have to load this, get all the stuff, then when I'm got all the fragments except for the ones in the Meat Circus I have to play though the entire Meat Circus AGAIN? Also on my completed save I only seem to be able to play the final boss fight in the Meat Circus as I go straight there when I enter it now and I don't remember seeing a level area warp catapillar anywhere so if I'm playing through again I'll have to be careful to get all the fragments before I get to the boss fight?
Please advise!
Thanks
Release Trenched for PC too and I'll buy the two in one click. ;)
Bought, installed, just started playing, and.... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, I've only played 10 mn, so I can't judge gameplay yet, but the art direction, people, the art direction! Even in the intro cinematic everything looks so wild, so original, so strange and yet familiar, and on top of that so coherent!
AND THE MUSIC!!!! At the main menu you're greeted by Chopin's Mazurka op. 7 n°1! And then, in game, it's some kind of fake romantic violin concerto, with bits of Paganini or Chopin here and there, but sewn in a weird, over the top, fashion, complementing so well the game's visual tone!
Whatever the story or gameplay turns out to be, I already know I'll love this game, just looking and listening at it!

(Yeah, I might be just a tad enthusiastic... But Double Fine's games are just like that! They're breaking every code and cliché of video games! We need more of those guys!)
Seriously debating about picking this up. How's the difficulty? Is it as simple as some people claim? For that matter, about how long is it?

Simply beating the game is elementary. There's always an obvious solution. Now, finding all of the solutions in a bit trickier, but the game has built-in hints.
Length-wise 100% Stacking completion is definitely shorter than 100% of Costume Quest.
