Pledged! Looks very interesting so far
Cheers kalmis. Just blitzing through bugs ready for the demo :o
Get the demo at:

Nice, will be good to see how the it controls.
Hey noblin thanks for the demo. I like it a lot. Here are my thoughts on it:

+ Love the movement controls, and the ability to climb ledges
+ The game nicely blends adventure and platformer elements together
+ Prince Charming can jump on Spud's head to get to higher places :>

- The switching between characters and pressing X to interact with objects is fiddly. Seems your characters must stop in order to do either of the above
- Music is too soft
- Killing monsters doesn't feel really impactful
- Monsters respawn when you leave and enter a room (not sure if this is supposed to be a feature?)

What I like about the demo most is the adventure part of it, but I think the platformer side needs some work. Not sure how to express it, but sound-wise it should have an impact when you kill a monster. But I like the overall framework of the game, and it's definitely convinced me to make a pledge :D

I think the KS campaign's biggest problem right now isn't so much the quality of advertisement, but rather the quantity of it. Unfortunately there aren't many forums where you can sign up, post, and not get accused of being a 1-off spammer, so be prepared for some heat, and keep in mind to always maintain a sense of cool and professionalism when dealing with people. You should also bring this up to the usual news sites like Rock Paper Shotgun. But best to do it when you start a second round, since this one has already lost quite a bit of steam.

Personally I think you have something solid going for you here, and I'd strongly urge you to try again for a second campaign. Sometimes luck plays a huge factor, and this time round you may just be on the wrong receiving end of it.

lowyhong: - Monsters respawn when you leave and enter a room (not sure if this is supposed to be a feature?)
I also noticed that if you clear a room and switch to the frog, exit the room, and switch back to Spud, all the mobs have respawned around him
Thanks for the feedback, will be looking into these points :)

So the music needs to be louder?
What kind of impact when you kill a monster?
Yeah I would definitely prefer to have louder music and sound (especially the jumping). Regarding the second part, it feels weak, like there isn't feedback or impact. It's more of a sound thing too I guess.

But take it with a grain of salt, since I tend to be overly nitpicky about these things :)

A general opinion is made up of individual opinions though, so all feedback you give is important. thanks
Cheers :p

I haven't pledged yet because I can't find my wallet, but I will once I do. Demo really helped sway my decision.

Oh by the way, buy Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. Great game :D

Thanks, no pressure to pledge, just wanted feedback on the demo :)
A few from here have messaged me detailed feedback, thanks!
Well we went from about 36% funded to 76% in about 4 days, and are now in good standing to hit target.

Also some new pledge upgrades

Good luck. I can't play the demo or pledge (overseas volunteering) by my main feedback is: stand out. Indie platformers are NOT rare.
