CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference live tomorrow at 5:00 PM GMT

People say it is not spring until you can plant your foot upon twelve daisies. GOG.com has proven otherwise, and you knew it’s spring after eight daisies already: Legend of Grimrock, Treasure Adventure Game, Trine, The Whispered World, Machinarium, Wing Commander 4, Spacechem, and Darwinia. However, as many a sudden change takes place on a spring day, we’re about to reveal another four amazing daisies tomorrow during CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference.

The harvest of a whole year depends on what you sow in the springtime. And this year, oh boy, we’re into some serious sowing. During CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference we will:
* tell you what has changed on GOG.com in case you missed it
* offer a sneak peek at future GOG.com releases
* give you a special gift as a big, sweet “thank you” to our users

Remember that those who arrive to the spring first, drink the purest water-- or
Remember that spring won't come from one flower--we need plenty of you to watch the CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference!
At first I was like "Haha, all the longtime GOG customers already have Fallout! :D "
and then I was like "...some longtime GOG customers don't have Fallout..? O_O "
Bought Witcher 2 on GOG. So, yeah, no "backup copy" for me. What a great gift to all those "Loyal" fans that bought it elsewhere like steam, bundled with DRM and not giving you as much money. So we, the people who DID pay full price directly to you get shafted? nice.

Own Fallout, have for years now. It was one of the games that made me join GOG. Sure, its good for other people, but im not sure how any self respecting "loyal" gog user wouldnt already have this title? the only fallout game I dont have is the tactics one-

I dont have a mac, I dont like macs, and even if I did I bought on GOG.com, so once again loyal users are punished for supporting GOG? I cant belive I ever would be saying these things. But, dear god. Mac users from GOG should write to support and ask for a free steam key, I think it would be well in their rights if they already own Witcher 2

Onto the good.
I am glad this free stuff will help bring more users to GOG.. Its great that some people will get something out of it. I just don't feel like they are really being too nice to the people who already liked them?

DRM Free newish ubisoft games are always good. That company is insanely bad with DRM. Though, I agree with price concerns, but that was more likely then not Ubisofts' hand.

Im most likely just snappy and disappointed since I woke up at 2am for this. But then again, I should be ALLOWED to be disappointed. Waking up at 2am shows just how much I love GOG.com, but despite the fact they promised something otherwise loyal users got shafted a little by this.
Assassin's Creed and Heroes of Might and Magic V together for twenty dollars ??? That's incredible ! Next step : an AAA DRM-free game published by EA. Why not ? If GOG.com has in its catalogue a quite recent Ubisoft blockbuster, nothing is impossible !
This was totally a pleasant suprise from GOG,Fallout for free and guaranteed to work on my pc.I've never played the first part of this great series of games,so i went and bought a brand new retail copy of it for 1 euro last week, and it didn't work properly on my pcwith all the graphic clithes and stuff. Thanks for the gift GOG.

Poulscath: I have to admit what amazes me is getting Ubisoft to step back from their DRM obsession.
They already started to step back for a while (overlooked as always). They recently released Rayman Origins on OC with no DRM whatsoever.
Oh yeah, thanks, gog team. Enjoyable conference, although I kinda want some goofy antics. :)

Exactly. Really disappointed by this. I understand gog wants to bring in new customers, but they're close to losing some loyal ones.
Not a single announcement of any new releases of CLASSIC games. I am disappoint. I almost had a heart attack when he uttered "system shock 2" but it was for not. Fallout is great, I have it on GOG, but I was hoping the "sneak peaks at new releases" wasn't just cartoon indie games and a few newer premium games. :(

rjfigueiredo: One price and still Witcher 2 is 40€ for europe and 40$ for the rest of the world, 1$ not 1€ eh, nice tag line guys, pity you don't follow it.

rewsan: GOG put in workaround, legal argument, GOG lost. Store credit for those that have to pay more. Would you rather they didn't sell it?
No, I do like the fact that they sell it, I just find it false advertising when they talk about every game is sold the same price around the world and then their flagship title for newer games has a different pricing structure.

I second this...

I had two or three disc copies before joining GOG, so no, I didn't have it either. Not that I really need it, but I'm not complaining.
Kudos for the new Premium Editions!

Hope they'll eventually do the same with Atari. :)
This place is running too fast to discuss this concern right now. So I moved my big post to

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/is_anyone_else_feeling_just_a_little_bit_gipped_over_the_announcements_at_the_conference

so we can discuss it further.

But right now,
I NEED SLEEP
Good stuff. Not much that applies to me directly. But I'm excited all the same. I like to see GOG grow. And the more GOG grows, the more games, swag, and giveways for all.

I don't get why some people get disappointed. Fallout was one of my first games here. So no freebie for me. This time. I've already gotten some freebies. And even if I hadn't, I'm getting DRM free games for a great price. GOGs been great! If you already own Fallout, then just be happy that someone else is getting the game for free. And be thankful for everything GOG has given you.
I managed to miss the live conference, argh. But thanks a lot for yet another free game - GOG rules! :)
