CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference live tomorrow at 5:00 PM GMT

People say it is not spring until you can plant your foot upon twelve daisies. GOG.com has proven otherwise, and you knew it’s spring after eight daisies already: Legend of Grimrock, Treasure Adventure Game, Trine, The Whispered World, Machinarium, Wing Commander 4, Spacechem, and Darwinia. However, as many a sudden change takes place on a spring day, we’re about to reveal another four amazing daisies tomorrow during CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference.

The harvest of a whole year depends on what you sow in the springtime. And this year, oh boy, we’re into some serious sowing. During CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference we will:
* tell you what has changed on GOG.com in case you missed it
* offer a sneak peek at future GOG.com releases
* give you a special gift as a big, sweet “thank you” to our users

Remember that those who arrive to the spring first, drink the purest water-- or
Remember that spring won't come from one flower--we need plenty of you to watch the CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference!

seaspanky: How in the world are you "screwed"? What a ridiculous comment.

SirCabbage: Well, they arn't giving us a Steam Copy are they? We gave them more money, more support, but only the other people get a backup copy? wat?
Why would you even expect a Steam copy? The whole purpose was to provide support for non-GOG copies of their own game. Why would they then add non-GOG support for GOG purchased titles?

Your reasoning seems a bit ridiculous, whiny, and entitled...
Good, I own Fallout 2 but never played the original. I hope is worth th while. Thanls Cd Projekt.

Poulscath: I have to admit what amazes me is getting Ubisoft to step back from their DRM obsession.
GOG HAPPENS: EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Seriously guys, nice work. On all the things.
I already own Fallout on disk, but it's nice to have a download version as well

There's a whole load of Ubisoft games that have been made DRM free over the last few years. it's not exactly something new. It's just that they keep it up for their premium releases.

On Fallout, same as many people probably, already have it. Oh well. Witcher 1 I would've had as well so not much difference there I guess xD

He's mad as he should be. This is all for new customers. GoG is looking to expand and bring in more customers, which is fine, but long term supporters basically get nothing.
Fallout has long been on my whislist, and as I already own the second this was a great gift!
Thank you so much :D

LordCinnamon: Nice! I thought everyone had it already :D
Feels a bit sad to have the present be the game that got me to sign up with GOG in the first place, but for everyone who hasn't played it yet: GO PLAY NOW.
Also, it'll probably draw in some more customers now that it's free, like it drew in me. And that's good.
I had it on CD for years, so i never bothered to get the GOG version. And it paid off, woot!:)

And it's a double win, since i also bought Witcher 2 in a box. :D
Wow! Amazing announcements! With all this awesomeness, it's hard not to be a huge fan of CDprojekt Red and GOG. I certainly am. :D

My Assassin's Creed DVD is cracked so I think I might just pick that up soon.
Too bad Fallout was the first game I ever bought from gog.com 3 years ago :(

LeftHandedMatt: Well, I already bought The Witcher 2 on GOG, so the backup copy doesn't benefit me.
I already bought Fallout on GOG, so the free copy doesn't benefit me.
I don't have a Mac, so The Witcher 1 port doesn't benefit me.

But I'm delighted for all the people who will benefit from this :)

My one quibble: $19.99 seems EXTREMELY highly priced for games that old. I bought Assassin's Creed 2 for £3 last week.
Whelp, why should I write a long post when everything I'd try to say has already been typed out before by this fine gentleman here. What can I say, I agree.

I kind of miss the old gog way of "two prices only, plus special deals". Now we have Indie games that cost whatever, Premium editions for 20 bucks apiece, and whatever else is flying around. Gets kinda confusing, one actually needs to look at the price tag now.

Also, dear gog.com webserver, I pity you. Get well soon.
Already bough Assasin Creed + Hereos V & pre-order botanicus !!! :D
Thanks for presentation and gift.
LOL,
Fallout was the first game I bought on GOG!
Oh well, I hope everyone who hasn't picked Fallout up yet gets it now. It truly is a legendary RPG and completely worth buying at full price(on GOG or in a store back when it came out).
