I'm in for Two Worlds II

I had a fall and suffered a head injury a few years back and then I LOVED this cheese dish, called Casu marzu

Because it's so fermented and decomposed, the smell is UNFORGETTABLE. It has these things inside, wriggling translucent worms that hop out of the dish when disturbed, (thats how you know its good) so you should place your hand above to prevent them from escaping. Love that burning, ammonia aftertaste; goes well with a nice red wine.

this is a matched made in heaven grilled chicken and savory juicy bacon with some rosmary, yes i have tried it and it is very very good. The best part is that it is done in 26 minutes.This is really good and makes me hungry even talking to you about it. I went to Beijing and had Peking Duck which I really liked :) You can roast the duck for a long time without worrying that the skin will dry out. It's because duck has a fat and thick skin so you can go for that crispy skin without drying the meat. Also the combination with rice was good since I like rice very much. Plus the sauce it too good to pass.

My favorite desert is cheesecake. I especially love it when the crust has had enough time to absorb moisture from the filling, because there's nothing I dislike more than deserts with dry crusts. Also the cake should be stored long enough in the fridge, to allow the filling to cool down, thus making the cheese filling taste even blander. When you eat it you just add the topping, at room temperature for the extra flavor, which can be any type of jam or just fresh fruits.

I grew up with the Romanian variant which has raisins mixed in the filling and I love it too(it's called placinta cu branza), but my favorite is cheesecake.

Let me share some great drinks anyhow. One very refreshing drink I like is from the South-asian subcontinent that I know as sandalpani (literally, sandal water, but not as disgusting as it sounds). Its made from an infusion of sandalwood extract, so it is like sucking on a particularly fragrant pencil, only better, and cooler.

Another favourite of mine that comes to mind is the orange julius. which I make from mixing orange juice, milk, ice and vanilla essence. I remembered it right now because I specifically froze some juice from my home-grown blood oranges to enjoy a chilled drink in summer.

My favourite delicacy, the "alfajor", specially the one made in a place in the city of "Minas", "Lavalleja" province. They make a long list of yummy sweets that are famous countrywide and in the surroundings, it´s the obligatory stop for everyone who travels through the city.
And it´s just quite practical, that next to the place where these are manufactured, right around the same plaza, there are the best tasting icecreams.
