has a poor graphic. I mean, SC:CT seems NEXT GEN, while DA seems a PSX game :l

I really like all the splinter cell games, except for DA. Not sure what happened with that one but it just didn't work as well. CT and Pandora tomorrow are my two favorites. Conviction was ok, and Blacklist comes close to CT and PT

Even more Surprising Conviction looks worse than Double Agent and Chaos Theory.

I take it you played Double Agent on PS3/Xbox 360 which sadly is not the, "True" version of the game since it was not made my Ubisoft Montreal, the true version of Double Agent is on the original Xbox made by the same team that did Chaos Theory.

What I said to Snake.

Which system are you playing it on? Double Agent was released for both 6th gen and 7th gen consoles and it was 2 different games made by 2 different studios.
I bet they had a real professional working the shadows and lighting in Chaos Theory because it's just exceptional, even to this day. I remember though enjoying the DT's multiplayer part far more than I expected after the PT/CT fans cried how the new change was bad. That reminds, I really need to get some time to play through Chaos Theory again.

And Play it back to back with Rainbow Six 3.

Ironically 3 in each Tom Clancy franchise is the best and both became M rated for the better.

Chaos Theory finally factors in sound in stealth and Raven Shield finally lets you see your gun and proper reload animations. (Better with 2.0 mod that lets you aim down the iron sights proper)

I played the PC version, and is crappy as hell. Excluding the fact that there's no story at all, the graphics are shitty, there isn't a lighting system at all, I can't see shadow, nothing :S

Now I'm playing CT and this is superb compared to DA.
I played the wii version of double agent and while it looked like crap it was a very enjoyable experience. I new there were a lot of differences so I also bought the pc version (because I liked the wii version so much) and hated it. Then in the second half of the game I encountered a bug that double a door in an L shape. That meant that however the door opened or closed the bugged seconde part would now close the entrance and since this was fairly far into the mission and I hadn't saved in the mission: I just uninstalled and never looked back.
I loved Chaos Theory so very much. Double Agent was Double Ass. The lazy console-to-PC porting is worse than I've ever seen from Ubisoft. I couldn't get it to run without graphics corruption on any PC I tried.
I remember getting impressed with how great Chaos Theory looked. Even if I played it on my xbox.
Maybe I should buy and see how it looks on pc, my xbox is in the basement anyway.

Looks aside. I got bored when I had to walk around doing chores because I was undercover all the time in DA.

The best memory in Chaos Theory was when you were captured and interrogated. I thought that was awesome.
I've never played Chaos Theory, but I enjoyed Double Agent. I didn't like it as much as Pandora Tomorrow, but I thought it was fun. I especially liked the way you had to balance your actions between Third Echelon and the terrorist group.
I love both games. Great stories, characters, graphics and fun gameplay. I love balancing your objectives between factions. Very fun and varied. I'd love to know what's with the "it looks like a psx game". My copy looks really good for it's age. A comment from a 14 yr old?

No, just compare Chaos Theory and Double Agent, on PC.

CT seems the "next gen" title, while DA seems the old one.

I have done many times and they both look great. I have no idea what you're getting at.

Have you played Ps2/Xbox or PC/PS3/360 version? Because yes, PS2 version is great, but PC one is awful, and boring like hell.
