Does anyone know where I can play the old 90s game called Spectre? It was made originally for the mac. I am looking for either spectre, or spectre supreme.

Thanks,

Marco

Hello Marco.

Unfortunately, there is no legally-available version of the game on the internet. Worse, the Mac versions of the game are not compatible with newer Macs, which means that Spectre Supreme is out of the question. The only Spectre game currently available on the market is Spectre for the iOS.

Thank you for the prompt response. I guess the game was not as popular as I had thought. If it was, the developer probably would have kept it alive.

Spectre was a very popular game, just that it was the most popular among what was effectively a minority of a minority (Gamers on the Mac during the late-80's/early-90's, when Apple and the Mac were a very small segment of the computer market.)

It's not like it's really the developer's fault that Spectre passed away into obscurity, either; from what I recall, Peninsula Gameworks was a really small indie developer that itself may presently likely exist in name only.
