GOG.com and Interplay Level up!

GOG.com has been in talks with our good friends at Interplay, and we’re pleased to be able to say that we have good news! Not only are we adding four classic games from their catalog to GOG.com in the near future, but we’re also going to give you another chance to [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/interplay_price_change_promo_09_11_12]save big on the games we already have for the next week!

Every silver lining has a cloud, though, and the reason that we’re putting the games on sale again is because we’re raising the prices on some of the Interplay games on the 16th of November as part of our new deal with Interplay. As such, games such as Fallout, MDK, Redneck Rampage and others may never be as cheap on GOG.com as they will be this next week. If you’ve been hesitating to pull the trigger on any classic Interplay games, now’s your last chance to buy and save big!

What are the new games that we’re adding to the Interplay collection? Well, if you know GOG.com, you know what we don’t like to give away that kind of news early, but if you’re paying attention on our website--or on any of our social media channels like , [url=http://www.facebook.com/gogcom]Facebook, , [url=http://www.youtube.com/gogcom]Google+ or even just your email inbox, you’ll be sure to find out.

So pick up our last huzzay of Interplay games at $2.99 this week, and let us know in the comments below what classic Interplay games you’re hoping will show up on GOG.com early next year--or perhaps even sooner!
The four Interplay games I'd like to see on GOG:

Dungeon Master II: The Legend Of Skullkeep
Heart Of Darkness
Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising
Star Trek: Federation Compilation (Star Trek: 25th Anniversary + Star Trek: Judgment Rites)

I think Bard's Tale has a shot, because those games were just re-released on Steam and iOS as part of the 2005 Bard's Tale game. I doubt we'll see Star Trek because that's a licensed game, and I have no idea who currently has the rights.

I have one question - there is no chance for "theme promotions"?
I mean - GOG can only made promotion from one publisher but can't do "racing promo", "strategy promo"?
Because it's difficult to buy cheaper games when their publishers have few games in portfolio.

And yes, Bard's Tale is good choice.

F1ach: LOL, I was messin' with you, I still have the original release, box n all, yes its a great game (better than fallout?, well, lets agree to disagree on that :))

Licurg: You were messin' with me ? Just for that, I order you to buy it again :P
Actually, I will, may as well have a digi version, save me rooting out the old one, thank you for your kind erm....suggestion? :)

That makes me a happy panda :)
Also, don't expect Wasteland, because that's EA, and it's currently exclusive to people who buy Wasteland 2.
omg i was just pining recently to play Descent + Descent 2!

Thanks GOG.com, this has made my day!
Ah, frequent Interplay promos - just like the good old days :)

By the way, by the end of the week everyone own Sacrifice, MDK1+2 and Giants. That's an order!

We've had many "theme promotions", as you put it, in the last few months, including a Strategy Promo, an FPS Promo, a couple Indie Promos, an Adventure Promo and a Promo with games from Nordic Developers just a couple weeks ago.

Don't know about Star Trek. That's a licensing jungle even worse than System Shock, AFAIK.

We're getting Kingdom II: Shadoan, I'm calling it right now. >_>

The two black eyes are probably from the last people you "suggested" buying Sacrifice to :)
