GOG.com and Interplay Level up!

GOG.com has been in talks with our good friends at Interplay, and we’re pleased to be able to say that we have good news! Not only are we adding four classic games from their catalog to GOG.com in the near future, but we’re also going to give you another chance to [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/interplay_price_change_promo_09_11_12]save big on the games we already have for the next week!

Every silver lining has a cloud, though, and the reason that we’re putting the games on sale again is because we’re raising the prices on some of the Interplay games on the 16th of November as part of our new deal with Interplay. As such, games such as Fallout, MDK, Redneck Rampage and others may never be as cheap on GOG.com as they will be this next week. If you’ve been hesitating to pull the trigger on any classic Interplay games, now’s your last chance to buy and save big!

What are the new games that we’re adding to the Interplay collection? Well, if you know GOG.com, you know what we don’t like to give away that kind of news early, but if you’re paying attention on our website--or on any of our social media channels like , [url=http://www.facebook.com/gogcom]Facebook, , [url=http://www.youtube.com/gogcom]Google+ or even just your email inbox, you’ll be sure to find out.

So pick up our last huzzay of Interplay games at $2.99 this week, and let us know in the comments below what classic Interplay games you’re hoping will show up on GOG.com early next year--or perhaps even sooner!
I am certain this has been asked before lol:

as somebody who knows nothing about interplay(the only 2 games I have from them are fallout 1 and 2)
what are worth getting?

do you think:
fallout tactics(the only one I don't have) since their ability to sell it may be running out soon
...or is that not worth it if I already have the others since fan groups seem to hate on it?

or what seems most likely to get the price jacked up?

which ones are great or must have in your opinion?

these games generally won't have trouble running on an average laptop would they I don't know much about computers

Also not sure I want them or not but they're pretty much the only other interplay ones I know:
I'd heard alot of good about descent games. whats better descent 1+2 or 3? Is freespace1 or 2 better than either of those?
is there a special reason only desent1 works on mac or will the rest get added later do you think?(noticed the same thing with monkey island(other websites sell both) and was part of why didn't get it(delayed til too late really. trying to figure if it'd run well) have a new mac desktop but windows is my laptop and most of these are win only so is why asked about lap)

Must-buys from the Interplay promo:

-The Shiny games ( Sacrifice, Messiah, Earthworm Jim 1+2 and MDK)
-The Fallout games
-Giants: Citizen Kabuto

These are must-haves for anyone who considers himself a real gamer. From the others- just buy what genres you like.

Wow, somehow I missed this thread completely! (I thought it was still talking about the old PWYW promo)

Hmm, what to get? Sacrifice (thanks Licurg!) and Descent for sure, and maybe MDK (loved this as a kid) and Giants (due to the good reviews)?

Also, please, PLEASE let one of the new Interplay games be Heart of Darkness. That's definitely near the very top of my list in terms of must-haves.
Will this be ending during day 1 of weekend sale (if there is one of course) or before
I got some sad news. I bought Sacrifice :(

There's a countdown on the promo page. About 22 hours and 37 minutes left at the moment.
Less than 21 hours left to buy Sacrifice for half price. After that, you'll have to buy it for the full price.

Anyway, will GOG release any of these new deal games tomorrow, or just raise prices?

Telika: Giants.
Thanks, couldn't help myself and bought all four ;)
Last hours for Interplay goodness!
I think we'll see Black Dahlia, Fatal Racing, Heart of Darkness and Time Gate hitting GOG, and I base my presumptions on absolutely nothing. But, to be honest, I'd love to see Cyberia 1+2, ReLoaded and Sandwarriors - I remember reading about those games as a kid and wanting to play them so much :)
