GOG.com and Interplay Level up!

GOG.com has been in talks with our good friends at Interplay, and we’re pleased to be able to say that we have good news! Not only are we adding four classic games from their catalog to GOG.com in the near future, but we’re also going to give you another chance to [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/interplay_price_change_promo_09_11_12]save big on the games we already have for the next week!

Every silver lining has a cloud, though, and the reason that we’re putting the games on sale again is because we’re raising the prices on some of the Interplay games on the 16th of November as part of our new deal with Interplay. As such, games such as Fallout, MDK, Redneck Rampage and others may never be as cheap on GOG.com as they will be this next week. If you’ve been hesitating to pull the trigger on any classic Interplay games, now’s your last chance to buy and save big!

What are the new games that we’re adding to the Interplay collection? Well, if you know GOG.com, you know what we don’t like to give away that kind of news early, but if you’re paying attention on our website--or on any of our social media channels like , [url=http://www.facebook.com/gogcom]Facebook, , [url=http://www.youtube.com/gogcom]Google+ or even just your email inbox, you’ll be sure to find out.

So pick up our last huzzay of Interplay games at $2.99 this week, and let us know in the comments below what classic Interplay games you’re hoping will show up on GOG.com early next year--or perhaps even sooner!
I didn't think Brutal Legend was a bad game by any means. It was mildly amusing at times, the combat wasn't bad, and the soundtrack is epic. I wouldn't have paid much for it, but it was initially a Gamefly rental that I went on to pay a few bucks for when it was on sale somewhere.
ITT: Licurg goes nuts
During every Interplay promo I keep eyeing the Castles pack - the only game of interest to me left on the list - but I'm still not sure whether it'd be worth it, even for a measly $3. Owning games like Lords of the Realm and Stronghold already, I have a feeling I'd be underwhelmed by these. Does anybody have thoughts on this?

Licurg: I hate you...
No you don't. I bought the game didn't I? You love me.

I bought both Castles, Lords of the Realm 1+2 and the Stronghold Games years ago and I haven't played any of them yet :-) The games look like good fun though.

GOG.com: What are the new games that we’re adding to the Interplay collection?
I hope that Interplay could dig in their vaults and release the Black Isle developed Fallout 2 1/2: Trireme and the sequel Fallout 2 1/2: Phoenix Rising which are both set in a post-nuclear Southern Europe\Mediterranean. I still remember the ad with the iconic image of the Colosseum still standing amidst the rubble of modern civilization.

Fallout 2 1/2: Talvisota was almost finished too and should be fully playable. This one is set in a post-nuclear Scandinavia\Russia and religion and religious conflict is supposed to be major themes.

I never heard about this games. Can't find it on the net. Is there any source for it or screenshots?
As much as I hate Herve, the Interplay catalog is too good to just let this pass.
I have just bought Stonekeep and Lionheart. I already have a third of the promo catalog and the rest are not of my interest.
The few Interplay games I'm missing from the promo don't interest me much so I'll pass. Definitely interested to see what the upcoming games are though.

FAButzke: It's only me or there's no indication of which games I've wishlisted when viewing the promo list anymore?
I remember seeing the "heart icon" in every promo on games I had wishlisted before.
It's not just you, I miss that feature.

F4LL0UT: Lol, I feel like the Interplay PWYW promo ended just yesterday and now we're getting a chance for a worse deal

Telika: It's a much better deal for those who wanted only a few selected games, and/or don't like to accumulate unwanted games.
Yes, I got the pack of 32 and have been disappointed with some of the "duds" but how could I have known this was coming?
