bazilisek: Yeah, I'm guessing it's from some kind of sound bank. Generic jazzy tune #378.
As good a guess as any, I suppose. And more probable than a known artist.

More probable than tv-shows borrowing their theme tunes from video game soundtracks at least.

DukeNukemForever: snip

bazilisek: I knew I heard it somewhere. It's used as a theme tune in Taxík, which is the Czech mutation of Cash Cab.
I knew I heard it somewhere before!

DukeNukemForever: Searched for it, but can't find a song which exactly fits.

Miaghstir: What did you find?
Unfortunately nothing which really fits, but it heavily reminds me on some Sam&Max tunes like this one:

Checked the Tex Murphy soundtracks from gog, we can exclude this ;-)

You guys are totally nuts. I loved it.
Odd but funny commercial (and I hate commercials with an undying passion).

GOG is saving PC gaming, so please keep it up. As long as you offer DRM-free games for a decent price I'll watch this site for interesting titles. Steam and Origin can burn in the hottest pits in the lowest planes of Hell.
The Complimentary Cake -- watch it Sunday, 25th March, 12:00 PM EDT

At GOG the cake is not a lie?

bazilisek: :: music stuff ::
It's royalty-free music from a sound library. Nothing crazy going on there. ;)

Holo cake?
"GOG is saving PC gaming..."
so true
Valves games are coming to gog!! :D
If I was gonna guess at what they are announcing then I would say they are going into new games. During the last survey they had questions about the possibility to expand into new games (potentially with a higher 3rd pricepoint). Its gotta be something big for them to create commercials and not use the counter which they've done to death (though we will probably still see one, they love countdowns at gog).
Ha! Awesome! Thanks for the chuckle. Looking forward to Tuesday.
Made me chuckle. Goal completed then.
I can't wait for the release of a newer game on GOG this Tuesday!!! EPIC!!!!!!!!!!
