Roman5: It would be funny if they used mock Names of Competitors

GamersMate
SH-Team

Or something like that :)

DrIstvaan: You didn't notice the guy selling the game in the 2nd ad was wearing a GamersEntrance T-shirt, did you? :)
And don't forget about "GamePause"

Fifeldor: I would have preferred GOG reaching to its pool of resources, this here forum, and ask some of the people who have showed their tasteful creativity many times

timppu: I think GOG users could fix those videos! Let's harness the power that is GOG Users!

First we need a couple of American Hollywood actors to dub the voices, the accent is too strong currently. Is Trey Parker or Matt Stone currently logged in? Either one is fine.
Are Trey Parker and Matt Stone confirmed GOG members? Or was that just a hopeful joke? :D

It wouldn't surprise me since they're definetly gamers and musicians... many small music fragments from HOMM3 are all over South Park episodes.

Wishbone: Hmm, looking closer, you write 12:00 PM EDT. Since when have you started conforming to American time zones?
It has been going on for some time, but the GOG team has never been very consistent with it. Some announcements are GMT, some are EDT. This one uses both to confuse the hell out of everyone.

Chasing one rabbit too many, if you ask me.
Those commercials are off-putting and overlong. :(
hmmm...

The problem is that no matter what time zone we use, some people are confused. All of the videos are dated from GMT (if you look at the teaser time we've been publicizing), but we decided for maximum confusion, we should use EDT for the times on the newspost. :P
Wait...did I hear a cow? Now come on guys, no need to get my appetite up at the same time as my excitement for the new GOG.com.
In the applause at the end of Refined Gamer... was that the Monkey Island monkey noises I heard?
I like them. I'm not a fan of commercials in general, but as long as you had fun... ;)

I AM excited about tomorrow. I've been waiting ever since the initial announcement... and when you said, "next year", last year, I was expecting Jan 01!!! March 27th is a long wait.
OK, now we're waiting for new games without DRM and regional lock / pricing but with goodies and cake.
Just Bring it !

Please, have Legend Of Grimrock lined up on GOG.com ASAP. PLEASE !
Music playing reminded me of the club in Grim Fandango Act 2 where you do the poetry.

Some cool things are going to happen here in the morning, thankfully the kids will be out to school by then so will be waiting by the PC :)
I am hoping for World in Conflict ...
I would agree with the Grim Fandago refference iainmet.
I thought it was just me...
Why do i always have to be the pessimist forum user ?

Well hate me , i don't care .

My opinion : these ( amateurish ) " commercials " sucks .
I admit, at first I was opposed to the idea of newer games on GOG. But the more I think about it, this is the only way left for GOG to grow (well, there are a few classic game publishers still to join, but the big ones are here already and the limit is starting to be visible).

There is only the fear that the newer games are going to be so successful that it's simply not worth it anymore to go after the old games. But the last commercial seems to address this.

At the very least, GOG should be applauded for their no-DRM stance. Let's hope they can make an impact on the way the current gaming industry does its business.
