ArchonPC: Finally GOG will launch a new digital client to compete STEAM, GamersGate, Origin and Impulse !
No DRM, no regional pricing or limitation, with goodies, new games and old ones altogother.
I had a dream...
GOG already really good now. But going to better this year ;)
That's not money!
Ha, these ads are great. I actually laughed at the BlueCoins joke (no commercial has actually made me laugh in a long time). I look forward to tomorrow's video.

Not too enigmatic if someone like me can solve it :P

You know what's WORSE when you are an Australian and Gamefly and others like it say "This game is available in the US and CANADA only" that makes me SCREAM WITH RAGE!!! {Insert well used Movie scream here}
{insert doom 3's generic backwards goldeneye 007 for N64 screams here}
{insert psychopathic demon possessed screaming in here}

Love the stab at valve and steam and those stupid #$%@ing "Achievements" (that you are UNABLE and go insane to get!) there is like infinity achievements for almost all the games (Bangs head on keyboard and cries)

I didnt see the other videos. I wish gamersgate would be fair to all the gamers. I remember going in paradox forums seeing the complaints of people from europe (or is it only from the UK, I don't know) about the price of Europa Universalis III: Divine Wind where people in the US were charged by gamersgate 19.99$ while UK(or europe as well, I dont know) was charged 19.99 GBP.

Also I heard from my grandma that the biggest amount my cousins paid for a game in the US is about 40-60$ US on day one release or the games that have been released recently (not sure but this is what I've heard) but in Australia we get charged 79.99$- even as big as 108$ AU (EB games charge ridiculous prices. I recently bought deus ex HR for PS3 from JB hi-fi for 30$ but on EB games the preowned ones cost 50 and new ones still cost 60$ or something.) and when we turn to Digital retailers (I couldn't get the right term) such as Gamersgate, we are charged GBP instead of AUD so we are paying the same or even higer than retail.

Ok, so those games were mentioned in this thread

Machinarium
Grim Fandango
Sam&Max
Tex Murphy
Legend of Grimrock
Anno 2070
Bastion
The Witcher 2

The Witcher 2 & Tex Murphy are already on GOG.

Anno 2070 is too new and too DRM

So it's LucasArts or Mechinarium / Legend of Grimrock / Bastion.

We already saw Machinarium on a screen with walrus.

And we know LoG will be announced (release date and platforms) next week.

I´m betting on Legend of Grimrock over Bastion. Good Lord, I wanna buy that game ! :P
Just to put further fuel to the speculation fire.

I did a search on "Legend of Grimrock" because I wanted to know more (unrelated: looks like an ace game!).

Got a weird result in the GoG forum. 2nd result was news of a pre-order of it from GoG, with -1 replies where the link lead nowhere. A yet-to-be-revealed announcement? I hope so!

See the attached image.

yeah, but that's just confirmation of what we already know :]

Nice find. That really seems to seal it, doesn't it?

It's a fitting choice, I guess. If the game will be any good, but it just might be.

If this is true, then there's a good chance Double Fine Adventure and Wasteland 2 will make their appearance in due time, together with any projects with a strong DRM-free basis. This is a glorious time to live in...and a catastrophic one for my wallet.
