If you take a look at the requested games there's a shitload of people spamming links and saying "buy buy buy" honestly it's kind of annoying , is that adds or are those people just spamming and if they are shouldn't they have their posting rights removed ?
Just a small bump .

For example ?
If you think they are spambots, hover your mouse over their comments and click on Report.

I just reported a couple myself.

Here, this should take care of the problem.

Oh, that's just Licurg. Don't mind him.
Only one D in advert.

Yes, GOG should have measures in place to make it very difficult for spam bots to post and moderators to mop up what's left. But they've never had much in the way of moderation. They've got more than they used to, but the site's a hell of a lot more popular now and clearly more needs to be done.

They're a lot more alert about what happens on the forums though, spam removing among the wishlist comments seem much more sporadic. Users buybuybuy, online, and topbulk have posted spam as "comments" for several wishes. ##@@##@@, ericzhu, and adsadskjkk seem like the same kind, but are a lot less common.

... that's my impression from the currently 20 highest voted "this week".
On topic (NO WAY!), when I joined in December, my first or second day the entire forum was hit with ads for football games. Some of the members told me it happens all the time but I haven't seen it since. Does "all the time" mean once a year or have they worked on that?

Regarding Maighstir's impression; I myself don't do impressions, I'm just an inn keeper. It's quite an impressive ability if you are good at it. :P

I think the first three you name are just more recently active; I've certainly reported loads of spam from adsadskjkk. I think they get hidden if enough people report them, and some may even have been *drumroll* removed.

Also, I think the older ones are quite possibly bots, whereas some of the recent ones may be (semi-?) manual: see e.g. the spam from 'online' on http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/warcraft_1_and_2_expansions which appears to be masquerading as a response to the comment below it.

They've put anti-spambot measures in place since then. Now the forum won't allow you to post links if your rep is below 7.
