GameRager: Lol keep trying. Some are hella easy(God of War has alot but some you just have to tap the button alot and it will always work, while some is down to random buttons appearing onscreen.), and some are just plain difficult(Severances weapon combos for example).

For me I find it's how one holds the controller that determines if it's easy or not to do the combos right. I usually keep my right hand loosely gripped on the controller to allow the thumb to be able to hit the QTE buttons easier. :\

elisstar: For me, unfortunately it's a medical issue. The nerves (and thus my reflexes) are completely screwed in my right hand. For some games it's not a problem, but for others, like Indigo Prophecy, the game became unplayable at a early point. Such a shame, too, because I was really getting into it until trying that office QTE 1,000,000 times and finally quit before I put my fist through my monitor in frustration.

Anyway, that's why I like turn based combat so much!
What about left handed peripherals? And train your left hand to do the pressing?
It would be.

That's what I do, since I'm essentially left handed now. The problem in IP was it required both hands, and you have to simulateously hit two directions at a time on a contoller with the two analog sticks, or two different sets of keys on the keyboard.

I do agree with you that QTEs are not always a game killer, though.

Maybe have your wife/husband help with the game? It'd be kinda fun actually, seeing if you two could pull it off. Also this reminds me of this events in the PS2 game Lifeline, where one has to SPEAK a particular sentence clearly and loudly into a headset mic at the same time as the other charcater is doing their line in the game in order to bypass a code lock. Good times, but bloody frustrating.
lol South Park is so silly. I love watching the show.

Hmm, actually, that's a good idea...my wife is not a gamer at all, but I guess it's worth a shot.

It would give you two something else to share at the very least. :)

I really, really hope that this turns out to be a good game, because the potential is pretty huge.

Any show characters you want to see make it into the game, if even just as NPCs doing a bit of talking?

I'm hoping for:

Satan, Jesus, Mr Hanky, the CRAB PEOPLE, the city wok guy & his wife, and some others.

Mr. Hat had goddamn well make an appearance...though I don't know if he actually counts as a character so much as a creepy alter ego.

It'd be funny if they all went to the future again for no reason like Cartman did in the one set of episodes......I wanna see the cat and dog robots again, and the otter people.
It could be that since Obsidian is an indie company, theyre not owned by any big publishing studio, they´re constantly up at it with publishers, and thus often get screwed by them. That could be the situation with Sega and Alpha Protocol.
