Yet another in a long line of youtube accounts made by people who think they're stars or real journalists. I like the ones that make their own little theme song and shit. Saw one the other day by a married couple... the john and jane show or whatever... and they had done it for like 4 years with hundreds of videos, each one with like 40 views.

Is it just me or is this going to be the biggest gaming failure in recent memory. Sorry to say but Obsidian is making a big mistake with this in my opinion.

I second that. Why a south park game? Why not alpha protocol 2? A brand new IP? Who´s publishing this? Oh, and I'm almost 100% this game will be steamworks on the pc.

Funny, I feel the exact opposite -- the more I hear about this game, the more excited I get about it. An Obsidian-made M-rated 2D turn-based CRPG with dark, satirical humor and a quirky setting where what is possible is only limited by the kids' imagination? Sign me up! This is not the only project they're working on. The other(s) just haven't been announced yet. THQ Oh blah! That's completely irrelevant to the potential quality of the game.

If you don't understand why there is a jew class in a game where one of the main characters is Cartman, then you have serious problems with all the South Park culture.

i'm not a fan of the series, nor have i any interest in Obsidian's new game, but the way i see it, if they are making a South Park game, they should go all out on the political incorrectness, since that's what the series is all about.

Probably because Alpha Protocol was a criticial failure and didn't live up to it's potential, even though some people, like myself, enjoy it. From a business perspective, it would be hard to get fund for a sequel to a game that sold so poorly.

When they announced a South Park RPG, I had the same WTF reaction, but now I say, go for it, Obsidian. Do it right. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I might still buy the game if they can pull it off. I love that it will be turn-based.

Plus, it's rumored that they may be working on a Wheel of Time RPG, right?
