It's usually quicker and easier to hit a logout button if it's on every page I guess.

Visit http://www.gog.com/myaccount/logout/ to instantly log out. What browser do you use? If you want I can make an extension that adds a logout button to the forum.

It is not a problem per se if I am at the office with ADSL connection. But at home with dial-up, I have to waited until all the game pictures/icons in the shelf to load first before the logout button appears. I cannot click on the logout button before all images finish loading up. So, at home sometimes I just close the browser and do not even bother to logout (which I am not sure whether there is a safety risk or not if I do so).

As GameRager said, it is quicker and easier to provide the logout button on every page. Not sure it is feasible technically, but if it is, it will be nice.

Ah, thanks! I didn't know that link. I am either on Firefox or Opera. Anything but IE, as I am browsing with Linux anyway :-)

As I said many times Gog can only implement "features" like that after several months of announcing announcements about announcing new features. Duh. ;)

Here you go. A GreaseMonkey script to add a logout link to the top of the forum. Follow that link for the script and instruction on how to use it.

edit: it works for Firefox, and the instructions have information about getting it running on Opera too.

I installed it on chrome and no dice....any chance you could someday rejig one for dhrome/iron users? :)

I just tried with Chrome and it didn't work for me either. Not sure why... maybe Chrome doesn't like the @require directive. I'll look into Chrome compatibility as soon as I get the chance.

Cool....I looked it up and apparently greasemonkey doesn't work too good with chrome/iron. :(
