I watched the press conference live, it was incredible.
My favourite part was split between the surprise announcement of Final Fantasy XIV Online and the motion controller. Not that I didn't drool over the God of War 3 footage, but we already knew that was coming.
What was your favourite part of Sony's conference, and what did you miss and wish was in it?
I missed a PS3 price drop. At least they gave me a few reasons to keep my psp since I havnt turned it on in a while. I liked their motion controller and that they showed off games and did not talked too much about gaming philosophy etc like Nintendo did.
I was waiting for the new PSP announcement. I was slightly disappointed though, just because the new device's buttons look quite uncomfortable.
The other part I liked in it was the new MGS announcement.
Their motion controller looks really good. The tech demo at least was pretty nice and a real fun.
With Sony's motion controller and Microsoft's project natal, even if I have still some doubts about the second, I fear that the Wii will soon be obsolete, even with their new Wii Motion plus. In the other way, I also fear that 360 and PS3 could become too casual gaming with such technologies. Let's wait and see.
started the show with Uncharted.
Ended with God of War (pretty much)
And just a bunch of good stuff in between...
'cept for the ridiculous price of the Go!
I wonder if it's worth making a topic about FFVII being on PSN for ten bucks in celebration of E3? That's probably my highlight.

I think that the analog stick looks more comfortable, and more like a proper DualShock 3 than the PSP 3000.
