MonstaMunch: I remember getting the Mega CD with Sonic for Christmas when I was very young. My brother had a NES, but the first system I called my own was a Mega Drive, and sonic was my hero. He also turned out to be literally the ONLY reason for keeping the Mega CD.

I couldn't play the 3D Sonic games until Generations, they all made me sick. Being able to get Generations was one of the things that excited me most about being able to use Steam :)

So, is there somewhere I can pre order this now? I don't see it on Steam :/

I have Steam, though I also happen to have $5 in blue coins :) What's the difference between getting a Steam game on GG and getting it on Steam directly?

The added chore of going into your Gamersgate library to get the steam key and then pasting this steam key into the add retail game option in your steam client.

You get an additional 250 blue coins for pre-ordering (387 blue coins total for buying Sonic CD now)

But a game added to Steam with a Steam key is the same as a game purchased from Steam directly? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I'm still kinda new at this Steam stuff.

That's okay. I was a steam newbie too once. The answer is yes. The game will be registered on steam and you can download it off the steam servers.

Perfect, thanks for the answers, just bought it (or pre-bought it, or whatever the term is) :)

I asked because I've had a few small problems with a couple of games I got from GG, but so far everything is working suspiciously well on Steam, it's even letting me sign into Window's Live and play Street Fighter with people and play Batman as MonstaMunch instead of Player 1 :)

That would be awesome. Tomorrow is a national holiday here (I have no idea why) so I get the day off work - Sonic loves me! :)

Awesome game. It's a shame the vocals were removed from the theme but that's small price to get the best version. I can watch the original opening on youtube at least(unless that blah blah law gets passed).
