There was something disturbingly familiar about the GoG front page. The text was all pretty orange.

The message read: Game Updated.

The orange text washed the lies away. My whole life was just meaningless, words to remind me of my failure.

I own VR Soccer '96.

Funny as Hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of.

VR soccer is a classic football "soccer" game. I don't understand why it's a laughing stock. Not a lot of you like sports, so you wouldn't like it. But that doesn't make the game a joke...

I thought Sensible Soccer 2006 was the shit one?

I got this game during the interplay PWYW bundle for 1 cent

I played it for a total of 30 minutes before I was completely done with it

Oh well, 1 cent for 30 minutes of mild entertainment isn't that bad so at least I got some enjoyment out of it

But Actua Soccer isn't far behind. It is anything but classic, and is a truly horrible game. It's not even something that was enjoyable back when it was released.

Actua Soccer 2 was where the series started to get any sense of quality.

Thanks for reminding me that we're in February now, and I still haven't had my annual winter playthrough of Max Payne.

Oh well, we haven't had really wintery weather yet anyway.

I love VR Soccer especially given it's price. Mind you the controls are beyong frustrating, it is impossible to use with anything but keyboard control, there evidently is no way to steel or speed burst, aiming is impossible, and player changes never happen when you want them to,

But I love it. Seriously. All I want to do is embrace my Dutch ancestry and you can't do that with EA; you can with VR.

FYI the update was for the MAC installer.

The reason it's a joke is because it was obviously only added to the catalogue on request by the publisher, in order for GOG to woo them to release other titles/give preferential pricing/etc.

I just saw that The Witcher 2 has been discounted again to 9,99$, so The Witcher 2 it is.
