Aye I deleted that when I realized the order summaries were from there, but you caught me before I deleted it. :)

Do you login to your GOG account from elsewhere? This is why I don't dare to login on any of my accounts - be it GOG, Gamersgate, Steam, or email - from either a public computer, or my laptop if it's connected to a public network. You never know what the previous users had downloaded.

Anyway see if GOG can trace the IP of whoever it was that requested for a pw reset.

how does GOG know this happened? I log into my GOG account from three different computers regularly and I've never received such an e-mail...

Theoretically spamming from an established account is the most likely motive for breaking in.

Otherwise, I'm guessing that somebody has a similar name for their account or log in information.

But, changing the log in for both the email and GOG is probably not a bad idea.

And I did not request password reset.

Someone will try to get into one of your accounts at least once. You shouldn't be surprised that this time they've decided to attempt a password reset, they probably even tried logging into your email account.

The internet is being pummelled by literally millions of requests every single second, one of those requests is going to be somebody from somewhere trying to guess the password for at least one of your accounts.

So don't be surprised. Hell, be even less surprised when you find out someone's actually been squatting in one of your accounts.

It's like all those spiders that you've been swallowing in your sleep.

I wouldn't be too worried, but it's probably a good idea to change all your passwords periodically anyway.
