I just wanted to start off by saying a few things I would love to see GoodOldGames have. Just saying it would be pretty cool to have it a lot like steam, but then again that might be just me, I don't know. I think I'll list them by priority, but note that I didn't put too much effort in listing the importance.

1. Friend Lists
- See what games they are playing, profiles, comments, instant messaging, etc...

2. Counting The Time Played On Games
- I love just counting how many hours I have wasted on games, and sometimes even limit myself to how much I play. It could maybe be optional to letting other people seeing your hours or something.

3. A "Recommended For You" Section
- Pretty self explanatory, just some part on the website that recommends some games to you depending on the ones you have played so far.

4. Reviews
- Write your own reviews! Let other people know what games are your favorites! It's a good way to learn about other games you may never heard of before.

Feel free to add on.

EDIT: Some grammar mistakes yo.

Welp. I feel stupid. Kind of new to forums. Was sort of looking for something like this. Thanks.
We have reviews

Most of the other stuff seems like Steam stuff, which doesn't really fit with the simple "download an exe" style site GOG is.
Yeah, I guess you're right.

There's a Recommended section (tab) on the main page, although it recommends you games based on your past purchases (and how you rated them), not played games.
Man I seriously have to look more around the website before posting on the forums.

So sorry about this guys.

That is possibly not the best way you could have introduced yourself here ;-)

FYI, one of the major selling points of GOG with a large percentage of the userbase is "it's nothing like Steam".
Especially with DRM-Free here.
Welcome to GOG. Here are some links that you might find useful.

XFire - a client that tracks your time on games and provides social features and an in-game overlay

Evolve - another newer client similar in function to XFire

GameSave Manager - Helps you to back up all your game saves, allows you to move the install location for Steam games between drives, and provides cloud-saving for all your games. A must-have for Steam and non-Steam gamers alike.

gameon: You make it sound like an out of control virus, lol.

I've heard of Gabe Newell, but i know nothing about him. What has he done to be hated?
I don't like Steam over their pricing/support you can't claim that you have 30mil active users & at that time you have awfull support ...
