I would agree.
Good. It does plenty fine for all the other forums I use, so if someone doesn't like it; that's their problem not mine. They can deal with it on their own. Thanks.
Honestly, at this rate people are going to expect their own PCs to not only read posts out for them, but to write replies for them too!

@bansama:
Not that I didn't like it, I'm just being curious here: Why do you use bold text quotation instead of built-in one?

I like it, I was showing some respect towards your methods. When I'm skimming threads over I can always tell if you've been posting; ergo its probably worth reading.
Topic-wise, I don't think it can be expected that everyone will understand what GOG says compared to what GOG does. I think the catalogue of games is awesome, so any expansion of it, 'new' or 'old' is excellent. I want to support this place because it could grow into much more than originally intended; like some match making (as in video game, not dating :p) service for GOG users.

Good.

Romulus was clearly being sarcastic; the line he quotes appears nowhere in this thread. He did it to demonstrate that your quoting method is functionally broken and makes the quoted text lose all context.
GOG's quoting system isn't perfect but it's quite serviceable; there's no excuse for you to not use it beyond pure laziness, and even that is hard to believe because the replying system does everything for you. Quoting in this manner is very rude and discourteous to other posters (especially those being replied to, who don't get a reply notification) and disrupts the flow of the thread.
If you wish to continue to be an active part of the GOG community, please show your respect for your fellow members by conforming to this long-established standard like everyone else does.
And here I was thinking that "O" = Oompa-loompa, but then that would be OL, so it'll be GOLG, which may resemble Google, and people will then complain how GOG or rather GOGL is ripping of Google
I need an aspirin and some Baileys
low rated

That ain't going to happen so just mature a little and deal with it. Honestly, is it really that hard for you to cope with? Don't answer that. I don't give a ****.

No, you need a lie-down.
And now, because of you Arkose, my curiosity will remain unfulfilled! Thaks a lot!
...
Anyway, this is one thing, but it's way worse when someone GETS what GoG stands for and still says "Old games? What kind of crap is that? I wouldn't pay a single USD for that!" - and I know quite a few people with this opinion
People who don't understand GOG also won't understand this.

OK, the asterisks leave me guessing. Do you mean shit or fuck? Or do I get to choose?
hehe, yeah, that too :D
I was about to post a completely random off topic reply, but then a thought came into my head and I just had to post it down
Anyone feel that the exact opposite of the OP? I mean we're getting pretty new games here ever since the initial launch. I understand "old" is completely subjective to one's perspective, but what got me interested in GOG at first was the promise of really old games, like Wasteland or the Realms of Arkania games
Not that getting gems like BG&E or Painkiller is ever a bad thing, but I think that the distinction of GOG as a unique platform for distributing retro games is blurring with the other digital platforms, like Steam or GamersGate

I agree to a certain extent. I was hoping for a lot of older RPG's to come to GoG, but I've become so tired of waiting that I've turned to eBay for some now. There is nothing bad with newer games for a cheap price, but a lot of them are relatively easy to find.

I've been buying old consoles for a long time now. My favourite is my Amiga 500; SWIV is awesome.
