I couldn't think of a good title but I've been eyeing up some games on disc and have been wondering if it's worth getting them. So I'm asking you guys and gals for your opinions and if any of you know if they are DRM free and/or compatible with XP/Vista/7/8. (GOG spoils us :P)

Sudden Strike Anthology It's a new rerelease with 1/2/3 and all the addons.$13. I'd like this on a netbook (XP & no cddrive). Worth it?

Ageod Military Strategies : Birth of America 2/American Civil War/World War One. $25
Ageod Military Strategies 2 : Pride of Nations/Napoleons Campaigns/World War One Gold Edition $13.50 It doesn't look like Pride of Nations comes with the DLC. Can you get it anywhere for the disc version?

Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Collection. $14. Does it require the disc and will it run on anything later than XP?
Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection. $13.50. Worth it?

Age of Empires Collectors Edition (1&2+expansions). $16-$18. I'm asking because there is a DVD version and a CD version of the collection and apparently one of them has problems. I don't have Rise of Rome and my original discs are getting pretty worn.

There is a Sudden Strike Anthology? I really need to check that out!

Anyway, I don't know how the AoE Collector's Edition is like, but I would be wary of any Ubisoft rerelease in general. The "Ubisoft eXclusiv" rereleases of Age of Mythology and Rise of Nations were botched. All copies of AoM came with the exact same CD key, even when the rerelease was changed so that the core game and expansion came on one DVD instead of two CDs. For some people, the RoN release was even worse, since some copies didn't come with a CD key at all.
Don't know most of those games but have thought of some gamecopyworld site where you can get most exe files for old Disc-DRM features without much hassle?
I have Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection and it works fine on my Windows 7. Can't remember about if it needs the disc or not.
Thanks for the input guys! Think I'll pick up Sudden Strike Anthology and Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Collection for now.

There is an older compilation called Anthology what has 1&2. This new one should have 1/2/3 & all the add-ons .

It's the Ubisoft eXclusiv version which I've found instock. Guess that's probably the one with problems. I'll avoid it like the plague. Thanks :D

I did try that for a game years ago but had no luck getting it to work and have stayed away since. Think it was one of the Army Men games. I'll keep in mind thanks!

Thanks! I had the original but can't find it anymore. Fed up with theme parks been itching to build a zoo.
