I don't like most candy with its synthetic stuff and way way waaay too much sugar.

Just dark chocolate and ginger for me really. Although the chocolate may not be considered candy so much maybe as I like 85-90% dark. I have not found any darker than 90% though.
While not a soft candy, may I present to you my favorite candy of all-time:

Werther's Original is also pretty good. And I like licorice a lot. The only candy I don't really care for, are jelly beans and other gelatin-based candies.

Eat enough of that and you may actually turn into Iron Man.

tinyE: And these look pretty good too.
I feel bad as a human being. The guy who made that should be locked up.

Cambrey: Arlequin
I think this is one of the most popular candy in our parts. And we know our schiste.

I love mints!

But it's got to be hard mints you suck on like mint imperials. Only problem is I can't find them anywhere and have to settle on a roll of Dutch pepermunts instead.

Or chewing gum. Lots and lots of chewing gum.
Whittaker's K-Bars are the best! Although they can be hazardous, one pulled out half of my retainer.

reaver894: Throw away those dreadful gummy bears! What you want are...Jelly Babies!

jamyskis: Oh, don't talk to me about fucking Jelly Babies. My girlfriend's addicted to them, and everytime we go to the UK, we absolutely have to buy two boxes of them. Of course, she won't touch the black ones...
Well thats a bit racist.
I wasn't aware that people 1) ever stopped eating candy and 2) don't like the black jelly babies. I though they were the best ones..?

I'm particularly fond of Flying Saucers, Cables and Pop Rocks.
beer = best candy ever
York Peppermint Patties or Hershey's Kisses, dark chocolate, not milk chocolate.

I couldn't tell you if they're the best ones. They're the only ones I ever get to eat ;)

Maybe it's a compliment, thinking the black ones are too big to fit in her mouth. ..

Okaaaay

I like toffee, and also chocolate-covered coffee beans. The chocolate, of course, is nice, and then you get that hard crunch, plus the bitter bite of the bean to balance the sweet.

Werther's Original are great, and the Werther's Caramel Apple treats are also very tasty.

Wait, you're jamming knives into your mouth?

AFnord: I never stopped eating candy, and I don't think I ever will. I love most types of candy that I've tried, and sometimes I even make my own.
Quote For Truth.

I don't make candy so much as various chocolate sauces, chocolate-dipped whatevers, etc. But I've made candy a few times. It's not as hard as you'd think so long as you're willing to accept that it won't turn out exactly like store-bought stuff.

I never was much of a person for sticky candy, but gummy candy is always yummy. Chocolate-covered gummy bears = WIN.
