I love animals and I love trees with all my heart(my name is langurmonkey - hint) but those people are totally overreacting to this thread. That is one reason, why I think animals are better than humans... Animals don't act insanely childish after someone posts a thread encouraging people to post pics of dead animals. Animals don't point their fucking fingers at some guy who only did something they didn't like and say, that is the bad guy.

And, specifically, Taxidermy is much less about death than it is about life, quite often - bringing something that has died back to resemble a snapshot of life. (The fine points where things become immoral is if someone specifically kills an animal for taxidermy; kills simply to document death.)]
