TheEnigmaticT: I looked it up: Summer officially starts at the solstice (the 21st of June, this year) and ends at the equinox (September 23). E3 is June 7? That doesn't seem to fit.

Unless you take the unofficial definition of Summer in the US, which spans from 30 May (memorial day) to 5 September (labor day). Then I guess it could make sense.
Can I just point out that technically your late...

In Scotland we had our days of summer in April. more that 3 days = Summer

It's only 1 to be announced isn't it? With a possible 2 more that they're looking to sign, hopefully, with luck, somewhere in the future, that they're working on?

Yes. They said that one new publisher is 100% certain, and with two more, negiotations are on the best way to sign an agreement later this year.

I think there will be more and more , as developers will see this is profitable, easy money, and it's welcomed by gamers.

Considering E3 is at the Los Angeles Convention Center, I would say the precedent is to go with the California rules of Summer, which starts in March and ends in November.
