TheEnigmaticT: I looked it up: Summer officially starts at the solstice (the 21st of June, this year) and ends at the equinox (September 23). E3 is June 7? That doesn't seem to fit.

Unless you take the unofficial definition of Summer in the US, which spans from 30 May (memorial day) to 5 September (labor day). Then I guess it could make sense.
Wouldn't the first date range work better though, as it would allow the announcement at E3 before summer began and the puslisher was expected on gog by the goggers here?

Summer starts when chicks are becoming less dressed up tand more naked in public. And it's happening now.
