I'm sorry for the spoiler mate, but the rubber ducky is so notorious i thought everyone knew about it already.
But no, it's not a really important part, it's just...well, let's just say that you'll quickly realize why it's notorious :)

He's lying. The rubber ducky is a key character in the game's plotline. You weren't supposed to realise this until near the end of the game.
"Damn you, Rubber Ducky!" she says "I should have known it was you!".
Then the credits roll.
It had me in tears.

Freedom Force(90) isn't a very well known game and could be classified as an adventure. However given its now owned by EA its unlikely.
The only other possible choice could be the No One Lives Forever games or like as mentioned before The Longest Journey.

He does redeem himself in the sequel though, I won't say how so as to not spoil the plot too much.

Oh please. Don't get me started on that whole Ducky Love fad. That may have been a moving scene he did with the banjo and the orphaned kid. But that doesn't change the fact the kid wouldn't have been an orphan in the first place if he hadn't... OK, I'll leave it there. Too many spoilers in one post.

Oooh, No One Lives Forever. Now that would be an insta-buy.

Oh, I hope NOLF too. I love quirky shooters. TLJ was pretty popular, at least here. Dreamfall, less so - even though it was phenomenal.

Would be nice if it was Anachronox, but it didn't score anywhere near 90%

I've been regularly tempted by dreamfall on the 360 marketplace, if that & TLJ come to GOG then I can get them here instead
