I hope it's not Longest Journey, because I already own it XD
The Last Express!
Please?
(probably The Longest Journey, but I thought pretty much everyone knew about that one)

in my zone TLJ is pretty unknown, maybe it's the same in eastern europe. and if is TLJ it's an instant buy even if i already own the game.
PS: Also: "zig-zag"

Zeewolf: The Last Express!

Metacritic: 82
A shame really as I've heard good things about that one and would welcome the opportunity to try it.

Weclock: No, I'd say Grim Fandango would probably be unknown, because it didn't sell very well.

Navagon: The odds are on Funcom though, if we're honest. They hit other DD sites way before Lucasarts. I've already got the special edition of Dreamfall (including TLJ) so it's not such great news for me.
really? looks like there's a 2/3 chance it'll be a lucasarts game.
The Longest Journey seems like a fair bet. Or Syberia.
Or maybe the Myst series? Most people probably know about those games though.
Whatever it is, I'm a sucker for adventure games, so I am more than ready for another instabuy! ;)

There are three possibilities. But they're not all equally likely, given the way it's been announced.
You should know by now to not get your hopes up too high. And I'm certainly not knocking TLJ when I say that. It's just that Lucasarts has a far larger back catalogue than Funcom (and I have the TLJ games).
Sanitarium, perhaps??

my hopes aren't high, I'm just having fun discussing it.

Skystrider: Or Syberia.

Not 90% unfortunately.

JudasIscariot: Sanitarium, perhaps??

It's not even on Metacritic. Although a fully fixed up version of the game would certainly be appreciated.

Oh we'll get them eventually. Don't you worry about that. We'll get them.

my hopes?
doubt it, I am not really excited about any games that I don't already have. :/
Does it actually specify point and click, as RPG's could be considered to have adventure elements. Now Baulders Gate is popular so i'm wondering does System Shock 2 class as an adventure ? and how well known is it worldwide ( i can dream i know).

No, Lucasarts. :p
If nothing else, GOG versions might work better. My copy of KOTOR seems unstable now and LA tech support won't touch it with a bargepole.
Could it be a game that was released on multiple platforms but is only listed at 90+ on one them other than the PC?

Nope. Like I said, I was hoping for Sanitarium, but a quick Metacritic search revealed that it's not even on there.
