It isn't on the wishlist anymore.
System Shock 2 takes the top spot and Grim Fandango looks to be an ambitious newcomer.
Get on it, GOG!
A few more topics of this format and we will be hearing gunshots from GOG HQ.

haha I don't really know what you mean, but I can't contain my excitement :D
Oh, I see. You mean your wishlist. Pardon.

Yeah, you slackers at GOG, now that SS2 is on the top spot, get to it.

I mean the site wishlist

But I personally believe they will find a way to bring it here, at least someday.

It's a matter of when, and not if. When EA decides it wants to make money off of the huge pile of classics it has, we'll get it. Let's hope we don't have grey beards by then. ;)

Wha... they actually REMOVED the title from the wishlist??? That's new, when Outcast got here (#10 on the wishlist then), the list stayed the same.

That sounds about right. I figure GOG has to be 'big' enough to attract certain publishers like EA, to prove that they would in fact make money on games they probably think nobody wants to play anymore.

But then again, they got Activision, didn't they?

Yeah, I kind of like it this way, so now there's room for more.

IIRC, SS2 was top of the wishlist for quite some...all...the time. No change there.

And certainly no change in the "I want SS2 nao" department.

hmm, this topic got crowded real fast...

They'll remove Baldur's Gate II when it is released too. And that'll bring System Shock 1 to the 2nd spot!!

And then they'll HAVE to bring it here!

...right?

Yes! That's right! Which is awesome, since I'm more interested in System Shock 1 than in System Shock 2.

They contacted Sierra before they merged with Acti and reached a stage where Sierra was happy to put it's games on here. The merger stalled things for a little while, but Acti was happy to make a deal with GoG.

The difference is that GoG managed to get into talks with Sierra before they were absorbed by a money grabbing corporation, EA has been one from the start. :(

With GoG getting bigger by the day (look at the front page!!) EA will be here, but I expect long, hard negotiations to take place before we see any EA game on here.

Yeah I don't expect EA for a while at least. According to GOG it took them 2 years to negotiate bringing Baldur's Gate here.

As far as story, do you know if they go hand in hand, or just a similar world?
I thought SS2 has been at the top of the list pretty much since the site launched...
