Sorry this happened. I hope she will be well soon. By the way I'm glad the fall didn't hurt her even worse. That happened to my brother a couple of weeks ago. He passed out in a parking lot due to an easily remedied blood sugar issue, but his real problem became the impact to his melon when he fell to the pavement.

Been reading through the thread, best wishes for her recovery! (and may she be at home, resting and healthy, with no need for needles, in her very near future!)

My wife was in the hospital last year, it was a very sobering experience. The Doctors thought it might be her heart, but it turned out to be CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome).

Don't feel pressured at all to give details, Elvin. We're here to give you support and let you guys know that you're not alone in this.

We care most about how you and your wife are doing, and we're here to provide whatever support you need, whether it's listening or just encouraging you to stay strong.

Do what helps you deal with the situation. One day that might be talking about it. Other days it might be just posting briefly. Do what's best for you.

I'm sorry that you and your wife are having to go through this right now. I wonder since your wife has a fear of needles and that it is hard for her to get through the tests if they can't give her something to calm down. I know they are different circumstances, but when I was in labor with my son I ended up needing an emergency C-Section. Well, the thought of being operated on while awake really scared me so they gave me something, I guess though my IV, that really calmed my nerves. I was still aware of everything and I remember the operation, but I just was a lot calmer and relaxed. It also really helped that my husband was by my side and I'm sure she appreciates you being there for her. I hope she feels better soon and that the doctors and nurses are being good to both of you.

Elvin37, we are simply here for you -there's no need for details. Just take it a day at a time and find some ways to take small breaks for yourself. Simply put, it is apparent that you are an amazing husband ;-) Huge pats on the back for doing what needs to be done. As always, we are pulling for a 100% recovery of your beloved wife.
