My wife passed out today and we called the ambulance and they took her to the hospital, turns out she had a big blood clot that moved from her leg to her lungs and her only way of treatment is her phobia which are needles she did manage to get today's dosage of blood thinner but there's a few more days to go hopefully everything will go fine.

Sorry for mentioning this here but I figured I might as well share it with people whom I consider pretty much family.
Thank you for listening.

Sorry to read of this terrible news and do hope your wife feels well and better soon.
My heart goes out to you and your wife in this time of distress. I hope she recovers soon.

It's very touching that you think of your fellow goglodytes as sort of an extended family. It leaves a warm feeling inside. :)
I am with the rest on this, sorry that she had such a bad thing happen. However, it is good to hear she is on the mend. Best wishes to her from me, as well. ^_^
Elvin, we are here for you even at a remove... Personally I had a fairly recent trip to the ER myself - fortunately I don't have to take meds everyday for atrial fibrillation which can cause clots - well except a baby aspirin! Anyway, I feel for her - needles are not my favorite thing either ;-(

The best thing I can offer is what my amazing husband did for me - just be there with a calm, collected demeanor, run interference with hospital staff and make sure she gets anything that would make her feel better - a pillow fluffing, water/ice, an extra blanket. Small things make the biggest difference when one is stressed ;-)

Please keep us updated and do the best you can to take of you too!
Well I will be heading back to the hospital shortly as the feeling in my legs has finally returned, before that it was as if my legs never existed I mean I could see them but not feel them at all due to standing all day and I managed to eat something too a pretty late breakfast that as it was the first thing I ate today.

I will keep you guys updated she still has to make it through 3 or 4 needles which will be 3 or 4 days.

Thank you so much for everything
Man, I hope that everything will be all right for your wife.
