I would love to have one if not for the $300 price tag. oh well maybe down the road i'll get one.

ok I just looked it up on that and other sites and your right it is $250. still a bit much for a handheld but then again considering the technology we are talking about here. That's the thing though I don't care that much about the 3D technology, I just want it for the games that are coming out for it.

Thats not really as bad as you are thinking.... most new handhelds start out at a price point close to that. Now if you compare it to the CURRENT price of the consoles then it seems to be alot of money, but if you take the price for what it is it isn't all that unreasonable.

Now that being said, my Dad bought it mainly because he is a 3D freak... I personally don't really give a damn about it at this point, but maybe in the future. I'm more concerned with the games & there aren't any that really interest me at this point. There are some coming out for it in the future that interest me, but the launch titles are kinda weak (minus DOA, SSFIV & Madden *depending on if you like the series or not*). I already have SSFIV for the PS3, so I don't see a reason to get it right now. I'm perfectly happy with the DS at this point.

Fair enough, i'll wait till it drops in price. that way all the great games will already be out.

Well the only reason he was able to get it was that he traded in his Wii & all his games for it (to be absolutely fair ... he never played the thing thanks to the Wiimote getting on his nerves). Still they kinda screwed him *$95 for the wii & like $130 for the games*(if we had a brain in our heads we would have got the Powerup rewards card then & there.... if finally said fuck it & bought one myself after the fact).

I'm not sure why you want to though. It is supposedly visually stunning.

Plenty actually, infact I would go as far and say that almost every major third party developer/publisher is releasing games for it.

and that wii and ds is for kids/casuals stereotype is getting super old.
