Best way to get rid of them ? Ultra-sound thingies ? Heated liquid device in the plug ? Little poison capsules to roast electrically ? Little spirals to burn ? Lemon trick ?

Gotta arm myself. What works best ?

I have thousands and thousands of well fed bats where I live and NO mosquitoes.

REAL Tea Tree, not the watered down stuff. something from Australian Bodycare for example. oh and avoid ion heavy foods and supplements. im anaemic and every time i take something to boost im a feast.
also i noticed when i spent sometime out of the hotter client which had them in abundance them my blood seemed to changed and when i returned it was like 'here boys'.

oh and the airflow idea is actually helpful!

Copious amounts of gamma-rays. At high enough intensity they kill anything.

Or if that is impractical I would go with chemical deterrents. Sure, they are not too healthy for your skin, but they work and are less harmful than a malaria infection.

Speaking of mosquitoes, do you suppose it's possible that someone could die from exsanguination if they suffered enough mosquito bites? Like say some poor dude trekking through the swamp got completely mired and couldn't move and was set upon by a massive swarm of mosquitoes who kept biting him until he was exhausted and passed out. Implausible, but I wonder if it could happen.

I think I read in an urban legends book that while technically it's possible you would die of so many other things first.

Around here mosquitoes are so big they can stand flat footed and rape a turkey so we use 12 gauge pumps mostly

The best solution is to never have to deal with them. I put this foam on the corners of my windows to make sure their hermetically sealed, that way they never get in.

We get a lot of misquitos in northern MN... Enough so, that they kill small dogs near the boundry waters- so many that it sucks the blood dry on them.

Things that attract misquitos:
1) high carbon dioxide areas
2) standing, stagnant water (breeding grounds for them)

Things that repell/kill them
1) bugspray (like deet)
2) Citronilla candles
3) Arial misquito specific pesticide (planes fly above and spray chems to kill the misquitos)

the best way to deal with them is to crush them, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women, but you can also use some antibug nets in your windows.
